HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetControlClass{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318} was useless. that key doesnt come up anywhere in my registry. i didnt upgrade to vista. it came with my toshiba satellite. this only started after a brand new hard drive and fresh install from a restore image cd. the device is splashed in the device manager.

updating driver also does nothing, says it has the most up to date driver
