Logitech (not me) claims their. "Logitech Harmony 650 Remote Control - Silver (915-000159)" will do the job. It plugs up to your computer via USB. The code to operate your DVD can be downloaded from Logitech. It's available from BestBuy, Amazon, or Logitech.
You may be able to obtain a generic belt (as part of a kit) from various electronics/hobby stores (including Radio Shack), simply (and carefully) remove the original broken belt, take it with you, place it against the ones in the packet to see which is the closest size - purchase the packet, then put the belt which matched your broken one into the unit - ensuring it is straight (not twisted and making sure you know where it goes) voila - loading problem solved. Alternatively, you can look online for suitable generic belts for your player - they are relatively inexpensive.
Simple, and cheap, and is a DIY job. No workshop attention should be required.
Sounds like the motor for the tray has died; seems to be a common complaint these days. Since the display acknowledges that it should be opening, it's not the button. If it's still under warranty, give Samsung a call for service work. If it's not, it would probably be cheaper to buy a new machine, then to pay to get this one serviced.
Toshiba Satellite 2405-S221 Laptop takes the PC2100 DDR SDRAM SODIMMs Memory Type, and comes installed with 256 MB (removable) of Memory. You can upgrade your Toshiba Satellite 2405-S221 Laptop to up to a maximum of 512 MB Memory, the system has 2 sockets to install Memory, already with 256 MB (removable) standard Memory installed.
In short.... yeah, 512k is the max.
Doesn't appear to a bios limitation. It is a hardware issue that is limiting the amount.
