Hello- The "fitting kit" is usually a kit with everything you need to hook-up the dishwasher and can include the water line, power cord etc. All these things are available at any hardware store and they could help you with what you need to buy. No big deal if the felt is torn, it is just sound insulation. You could duct tape it if you wanted. Hope this helps, best regards.

Drum in Amana dryer has dropped leaving a gap on back wall at bottom where it meets drum. clothes get torn & marked. How do I access & fix?

Tumble drier drum bearings are often nothing more than strips of felt stuck or clipped onto a pressed steel flange or a similar simple idea. They give good service but don't last forever and eventually metal-to-metal contact happens and if repairs are neglected the steel flanges are also worn away and the drum begins to tilt...

I have fitted several felt bearing kits and twice have needed to weld in some steel to restore a flange.

The job usually entails almost completely dismantling the casing.

Felt front gasket torn

Your local appliance parts store will have a felt gasket kit with all you need to repair it. If you aren't handy, you may want to call a technician.

On my new (2nd hand) Yamaha YPP-50 piano, the middle D key is slightly lowered and requires a lot of strength to get sound from it. I'm wondering if its possible to fix? Maybe without going to a Yamaha...

There is a narrow padding strip that runs under all the keys going across. It is made of a type of felt. It is worn or torn in that spot. If you are careful and have some mechanical skill at opening the unit, you will see it, it should be a pretty simple fix to glue the felt back (if torn) or even to glue a small piece of felt in that spot to raise the key, which will allow full movement again so it would feel pretty close to normal again.

Hi, The dishwasher is not filling with water. Have checked all the obvious hose blocked, pump clear etc.... Please help Jayne

The problem is likely with the water inlet valve or float switch. Both are inexpensive and easy to check/ replace. Here is a link that should help http://appliancehelponline.com/dishfloatwaterinletvideo.html

LG6810 Dishwasher

Here is one source:
http://lge.andrewselectronics.com/lookup.aspx
I have provided the LG part numbers for the parts you are requesting. The vendor may need to convert those numbers to their own system.
Third item on the list should be: BRACKET, MOUNTING WITH SCREWS KIT --> LG part description and number: "ACCESSORY ASSEMBLY" 5001DD4001A

The lower cover assembly for Stainless part number is: 3551DD2001C To maintain quiet operation, recommend you order the "Lower Felt" part number 4766DD2004A
Good Luck!

Maytag Dryer Mosel #MDE6700AZW

you will need to remove the front panel and the front bulk head. after that you will see that there are clips that need to be pushed down to hold the fabric (felt) down. You need to make sure that the felt isn't torn. If it isn't torn then all you need to do is take a flat head screw driver pry the clips up and put the felt back on and push the clips back down
