Congratulations on your business.
Facebook, and other sites like it (myspace) have a lot of traffic.
Many times someone will create a profile then forget about it.
This clutters up the servers.
In order to clear up non active accounts, they impose a 6 month activity requirement.
Simply log on to your facebook page, ask a buddy to "friend" you and do that 5 times.
A weekly or monthly log in and chat will suffice to keep this open.
(P,S. If you have this page for keeping track of progress on your restaurant... there might be a slight problem in the way your are updating...)
You might want to try "TWITTER"
Twitter allow the user to set up an account and type up to 240 characters (spaces count) and post them to their account.
Anyone following will get the updates.
For example, if you have 2 people following your twitter on your restaurant, you "twitter" a message like this:
"Just got the new linens in today"
and all 20 people following will get the message.

Hope that helps

good luck and don't forget to vote!!!

How to Change a Yahoo ID Name for a Chat Room |

INSTRUCTIONAL STEP TO FOLLOW
From the main page of Yahoo.com, click on the "More Yahoo! Services" option at the left side of the screen. In the pop-up screen, click on the"Chat" option. The following page will direct you to a place where you can download Yahoo! Messenger. Make sure you download the correct version that is compatible with your operating system, and that youclosely follow the appropriate steps for installing the chatting tool. Wait to be asked to enter your Yahoo! ID and password in order to sign on.You may already have a Yahoo! ID if you have previously signed up for a Yahoo! service. The majority of users typically have a Yahoo! ID from using Yahoo! Mail. You can sign on with the same user ID and password you use for your Yahoo! Mail if you would like. But keep in mind that members of a chat room might have easier access to finding out who you are. The safest and best option is to create an alternative ID name and password. Instead of signing into Yahoo! Messenger with the user ID you already have, click on the "Create Yahoo! ID" option at the bottom the Yahoo!Messenger page. A new screen should appear that prompts you to create an entirely new user ID. However, this time, only include the minimal information needed to create a user ID. For example, you do not need to include your alternative email. When finished, click on "Create MyAccount."Now that you have an alternate Yahoo! ID, only use your newly created user ID for when you enter a chat room. You can still sign onto Yahoo!Messenger using your normal Yahoo! ID to chat with trusted friends.Once you are signed on with your normal Yahoo! ID, you can switch to your alternate user ID before entering chat rooms. The following, final step will help you with this simple process. Clickon "Profile" in the top toolbar, then click on "My Profiles." Now clickon "Edit Profiles." You will be taken to your normal Yahoo! profile.Click on "Account Info" in the top, right-hand corner of the page.Click on "Edit/Create Aliases" on the right-hand side of the page. You can now add the new Yahoo! ID you have created. Once this is complete,go back to Yahoo! Messenger and click on "Join a Yahoo! Chat Room" frothe "File" option in top toolbar. At the top of the chat-room pop-up,you now have the option to switch your Yahoo! ID before entering a room.

CANNOT OPEN SECURED SITES ????

After you upgrade to Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 Service Pack 2 (SP2) in Microsoft Windows XP SP2, some SSL-secured (128-Bit) Web pages and Web sites may not work correctly. Frequently, this behavior is caused by security changes in Windows XP SP2. To determine why the pages do not display correctly, use the following methods in the order that they are presented.
Turn off the pop-up blocker
Internet Explorer SP2 includes the ability to block pop-up windows. This new feature may block some Web pages. To turn off the Pop-Up Blocker, follow these steps: 1. On the Tools menu in Internet Explorer, click Internet Options, and then click the General tab.
2. Click the Privacy tab.
3. In the Pop-Up Blocker section, click to clear the Block pop-ups check box.
4. Click Apply.
5. Click OK.
Delete the contents of the Temporary Internet Files folder
If a copy of the Web page is in the Temporary Internet Files folder, the page may not display as expected. To resolve this problem, you must delete the contents of this folder. To do this, follow these steps: 1. On the Tools menu in Internet Explorer, click Internet Options, and then click the General tab.
2. Click Delete Cookies, and then click OK.
3. Click Delete Files, and then click OK.
4. Click Clear History, and then click Yes.
5. Click OK. Configure security, content, and advanced settings in Internet Explorer
Configure the security settings for the Trusted sites zone in Internet Explorer
Note Only add those sites that you trust as a trusted site. If you are not sure about a Web site, do not add the Web site to the Trusted sites list. 1. On the Tools menu in Internet Explorer, click Internet Options, and then click the Security tab.
2. Click Trusted sites, and then click Default Level.
3. Add any SSL-secured (128-Bit) Web sites to the Trusted sites zone. To do this, follow these steps: a. Click Sites.
b. Type the URL of the site in the Add this Web site to the zone box.
c. Click Add, click OK, and then click Apply.
Reset the Security Zones to the default settings
1. On the Tools menu in Internet Explorer, click Internet Options, and then click the Security tab.
2. Click Internet, and then click Default Level.
3. Click Local Intranet, and then click Default Level.
4. Click Trusted sites, and then click Default Level.
5. Click Restricted sites, and then click Default Level.
6. Click Apply.
7. On the Privacy tab, click Default, and then click Apply
Clear the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) state and the AutoComplete history
1. On the Tools menu in Internet Explorer, click Internet Options, and then click the Security tab.
2. Click the Content tab.
3. In the Certificates section, click Clear SSL State, and then click OK.
4. In the Personal information area, click AutoComplete.
5. In the Clear AutoComplete history area, click Clear Forms, and then click OK.
6. Click Clear Passwords, and then click OK three times.
Verify that Internet Explorer is configured to use SSL 2.0 and SSL 3.0
1. On the Tools menu in Internet Explorer, click Internet Options, and then click the Advanced tab.
2. Under Security, click to select the Use SSL 2.0 and Use SSL 3.0 check boxes if they are not already selected, and then click Apply.
3. Click Restore defaults.
4. Click Apply.
5. Click OK.
Use the System File Checker tool to scan all files that are protected by Windows File Protection
Use the System File Checker (Sfc.exe) tool together with the /scannow parameter to immediately scan and verify the versions of all the system files that Windows File Protection helps protect. If the Sfc.exe tool detects that such a file was overwritten, the Sfc.exe tool retrieves the correct version of the file from the Dllcache folder or from the Windows XP installation source files, and then replaces the incorrect file. The Sfc.exe tool also verifies and repopulates the cache folder. You must be logged on as an administrator or as a member of the Administrators group to run the Sfc.exe tool. To run the Sfc.exe tool together with the /scannow parameter, follow these steps: 1. Click Start, and then click Run.
2. In the Open box, type cmd, and then click OK.
3. At the command prompt, type sfc /scannow, and then press ENTER.
4. Type exit, and then press ENTER.
Third-party browser extensions
Some third-party browser extensions and add-ons may interfere with how Internet Explorer views certain Web pages. To turn off these extensions, follow these steps: 1. Click Start, right-click Internet Explorer, and then click Internet Properties.
2. Click the Advanced tab.
3. Click to clear the Enable third-party browser extensions (requires restart) check box.
4. Click Apply.
5. Click Ok.
6. Start Internet Explorer, and then try to reproduce the issue.
If the issue does not occur, you can try to determine which third-party browser extensions may be causing the problem. To revert to the original settings, follow these steps: 1. Click Start, right-click Internet Explorer, click Internet Properties.
2. Click the Advanced tab.
3. Click to select the Enable third-party browser extensions (requires restart) check box.
4. Click Apply.
5. Click the Programs tab.
6. Click Manage Add-ons.
7. Click Add-ons that have been used by Internet Explorer.
8. Select all but the first of the add-on check boxes that are installed.
9. Click Disable.
10. Click OK.
11. Start Internet Explorer, and then try to reproduce the issue.
If the problem does not occur, select the next Add-on check box in the list, and then try to reproduce the problem. Select each check box in turn until you determine which add-on is causing the problem. When you have determined this add-on, contact the software manufacturer for information about updates for the add-on Create a new user profile
In certain situations, you may not be able to search Web sites if your Windows user profile is damaged. To troubleshoot this, log on to the computer as another user and try to connect to a Web site. If you can connect to SSL- secured (128-Bit) Web sites when you are logged on as a different user, your user profile may be corrupted. In this situation, back up the information and settings that you want from your profile (for example, the My Documents and Favorites folders), and then delete the damaged profile. To delete a user profile, follow these steps: 1. Log on to the computer as Administrator or as a member of the Administrators group.
2. Click Start, click Run, and then type sysdm.cpl.
3. Click the Advanced tab, and then under User Profiles, click Settings.
4. In the Profiles stored on this computer list, click the user profile that you want to delete, and then click Delete.
5. Click Yes when you are prompted to confirm the deletion.
6. Click OK two times.
7. Log off the computer as Administrator, and then log on as the user. Windows XP will then create a new profile for the user.
Note Alternatively, you may want to create a new user, and then copy the data from your old profile to the profile of the new user. For more information about how to copy your profile data, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

I want create new acc n fb

Facebook serves to keep individuals in touch with their friends and family members through interactive Facebook profiles. If you aren\'t already one of the over 800 million active users of Facebook, you might want to check out the social network. It takes only minutes to sign up for a free Facebook account.

Open an Internet browser on your computer and navigate to the Facebook Sign Up Web page. Enter your real first and last name, your email address and a password. Select your sex and birthday from the pop-up menus. You must be at least 13 years old to sign up for a Facebook account. Click the "Sign Up" button at the bottom of the screen. Type the "Captcha" security code into the box provided. You are presented with opportunities to find existing friends on Facebook. If you give the site permission, it compares your contact list to the names of people already on Facebook. You can skip this step for now, if you like. Enter information for your profile. Spaces are provided for you to enter you school or college, hometown, current city, interests and lots of other information. For now, enter just the basics. You can go back later and expand on your profile information. Upload a profile picture when prompted. This should be an actual photograph of you, which helps friends find and identify you on the site. Check your email. Facebook sends a confirmation email to the email address you listed on the Sign Up page. Confirm the account as requested. You have created a Facebook account. Hope this helps,

Why does my laptop not respond to internet or firefox,it keeps sticking and is unresponsive. ive tried the power, battery, removed history and cookies, defraggkes and cleaner to no AVAIL PLEASE HELP

Hi Janice,

I see that you have tried everything that may help fix the issue you are experiencing.

The only recommendation I can give you right now is to create a different user profile in windows and see if the issue will still occur on the new windows profile created, and if this happens possible that there is something wrong with the windows installation on your Computer.

To Create a new Profile in Widows regardless of what version you have, Follow the steps below:

Assuming that your Existing Windows profile is already Administrator got to
-Start Click on Control Panel
-make sure that is is in Classic View where you see all the icons and details. once you have the list showing
-click on users
-in users click on create new user this will give you the option to create a user and ask you if you want to copy all the files that your original file has to the new profile and also make sure that you make the new profile set to administrator as well, which I believe is needed just incase it works you can remove the old profile that was having issues.
-once you have created the profile it may take awhile to finish if you have a lot of files that need to be copied to the new profile.
-once the new profile is created, close all windows that are open and click start then Log-off user to be able to log-in to the new profile that was created.
once you've logged-in to the new profile test it and see if the same problem will occur like on the old profile you had if you think the issue is not happening anymore and that you are satisfied that everything is OK, check all your files first if they are all copied to the new profile created before deleting the Old profile with problems.

I hope that this will help? I cannot find any other options that could be causing your issues in the old profile except for a corrupt windows profile.

Have a nice day Janice,

How can i instal skype to my psp?

The first step in the process involves configuring the Internet connection, which you should have already done if you've ever taken the PSP online to play games or browse the web. If you’re making a call from a public Wi-Fi hotspot, you might have to fire up the PSP Internet browser to accept the hotspot’s terms of service before getting online.
You’ll need to update your PSP’s firmware to enable Skype functionality if you bought your PSP-2000 close to launch. You can find the update on Sony’s PSP support page and full instructions on how to properly update the device. After installing the system update, you’ll find a new Skype selection under the Network in the XMB menu, nestled between the LocationFree Player and Remote Play.
The Skype program will give you the option of using an existing Skype account, or creating a new account directly from the PSP. Making a Skype account couldn’t be easier. Enter your email address and the desired login and password, and you’re on your way. Once the account is created, you can use either your PSP or a PC to hop over to the Skype site to purchase Skype credits using either PayPal or a credit card. You need Skype credits if you want to call cell phones or regular land lines using your Skype account.
profile.jpg
Profile 1 Profile 2 Profile 3 Profile 4 Profile 5 The Skype menu has five main sections: My Profile, Contacts, History, Dial, and Tools. The Profile section lets you adjust personal information. From here, you can change your status, icon, and mood message. Other profile settings let you set your location, email address, and contact numbers.
contacts.jpg
Contacts 1 Contacts 2 Contacts 3 Contacts 4 Contacts 5 The Contacts page, as the name suggests, displays your contact list. From here you can choose contacts to call, but you'll be limited to audio chats only. You won't have the ability to launch video chats—Skype didn’t recognize the PSP camera attachment we imported from Japan. Voice quality will vary with your internet connection, but even with spotty service the connection is more than usable. Our PC friends did have to update their Skype program to the latest version to stop numerous error screens from popping up during our calls.
history.jpg
History 1 History 2 The History icon keeps track of all incoming and outgoing calls and records how long you were in the chat for. It's also a quick way to go back and redial recent calls.
dial.jpg
Dial 1 Dial 2 Dial 3 The Dial feature lets you call outside phone numbers with the PSP. You will of course have to pay real money for this feature to work. We made a few calls using the service and it functioned as advertised, and voice clarity on both ends was more than passable. We did notice some lag, but nothing severe enough to disrupt the conversation.
tools.jpg
Tools 1 Tools 2 Tools 3 Tools 4 Tools 5 Tools 6 The Tools menu lets you jump to the Skype page to purchase more air time, change default sounds, troubleshoot network related port settings, manage blocked users, and tweak a few other minor settings.
Overall, we found Skype on the PSP to be easy to use and great for voice chats. We don't miss the text chat interface, as the PSP's text input mechanism doesn’t make for fast messaging. We’re not really sure how often you’ll actually use Skype on the PSP, but you’ll be glad to have it if you ever find yourself without a landline and a cell phone, but happen to be near an open Wi-Fi connection. Thats about it! =)

Rate please!

Sincerely
Aleksandar Adzic

Windows cannot load the locally stored profile. Possible causes of this error include insufficient security rights or a corrupt local profile. If this problem persists, contact your network administrator.

Try to create a new user account

1) Click on Start
2) Click on Control Panel
3) Click on Classic View on the left hand side.
4) Click on User Accounts
5) Click on Manager Other Accounts
6) Click on Create a New User Account
7) Type in the name of the new Account and select the user as administrator
8) Then click on Create Account.

The Account would be created successfully.

Log Off from your user account and login from the new user account that you have created.

How to switch porfiles without losing 12 month subscription

the new profile is COMPLETELY separate from your original account. If your new profile has a 12 month subscription then nothing will take that away until 12 months expires. your old profile however is a separate entity in itself. you can always recover that profile if you still have all of your credentials. i.e. email, password, and gamertag.
