Question about Panasonic KX-T7731 Corded Phone

2 Answers

I have a Panasonic KX-T7731 phone system and I know most of the buttons: 1: Listen 2: Send a message 3: Change personal options *: Disconnect 7: Erase 9: Save it 4: replay 5: envelope info 6: send copy..... but what I'd like to be able to do is hit a button that sends you to the end of the message so you can delete it instead of listening to the whole message if it's really long. Any body know of a way to do that?

rockmeister, thanks for the help, unfortunately none of these worked :( The fwd/dnd button then asked for a code?? and the # button "skipped" the message and the > button didn't do anything. Thank you though!

    Panasonic KX-T7731 telephones:
I am trying to figure out how to fast forward a message to the end so I can delete it without listening to the entire message.
I have tried the FWD/DND, # and > buttons to no avail.

Although my unit is a KX-TA624. when i want to go to the end of the message i press the FWD/DND button and it takes me to the end of the message so i can delete it. Dont know if this will work with your unit but it is worth trying. if that doesnt work you can try the # button or the > button on the navigational wheel.
Hope this solution has been helpful?

The KX-T7731 is just the phone. The auto attendant is controlled by the PBX. To change the message, please consult the manual for the PBX. If you don't have that manual, please reply to this post and specify the model of your PBX.

The caller id is working but how to look back the last caller id number(or caller id log) on the KX-T7731, i am using it with the KX-TA824 system.

System pool is 300 numbers, personal is 20. There are logging and overwrite options in Maintenance programming 9.3 or system program 737 and 738. Then you program buttons for CID-Select and CID-Indication for either personal, system or both. (2 buttons per feature).

Hi, I have a Panasonic KX-T7731 and I don't quite understand the vocabulary of the manual. So here is what I am looking for I would like when an oncoming call comes in that the caller can select from...

Manual to what? A 7731 is a Panasonic phone that connects to a Key Service Unit. If your KSU happens to be a TA-824 delivered in the U.S., it has a DISA card built in and the instructions are probably in the OM. There, you record a set of instructions that let the system answer and route the caller by digits dialed. If you're using a different KSU, then you may have the Auto Attendant on a Panasonic Voice Mail system do the messages and routing. That set of instructions will be in the Voice Mail installation guide.

How do I set up my voice mail or know if I can acquire messages? I have a Panasonic KX-T7731 phone system!

You have a 7731 phone. The phone system could be any one of 18 Panasonic cabinets, but probably a TA series. Voice mail could be a BV, TVx box, or central office based. If CO based, an 824 will listen for the stutter dial tone and light the MW light on a phone. There are instructions to make that work.

So, try editing your question to give a bit more information and it makes it easier to give you an answer.

I would like to listen to message we have, then change the message to a new one. I would also like to take out some of the assignment callers that I transfer calls to. The quick reference guide I have is...

depending on what system you have here are 2 options for personal messages -
TVM system dial into voicemail (usually 200 or 500) dial 3 1 1 and follow the prompt (the older system is option 5 1 1)

SVM dial *382 your message will be played back to change it dial *381

3 to delete messages. These are instructions for a TVS system. It generally applies to the TVA system as well, with a few extra digits.
