I have a coleman companion flashlight/lantern and need to disassemble it for battery replacement. i can`t fiqure out how.

Really? Put the flashlight down and slowly step away from it and if that doesn't work threaten it with a hammer?
Seriously did you read the package directions? The pointy end with the gray ring is the end most likely screws off to put the AA batteries in.

How do D batteries install into a Rayovac camping lantern?

If there is no access panel on the bottom for the batteries then the base itself must unscrew to give you access. I'm sure that will work for you.

My mom purchased this Jeep lantern and does not have the manual that came with it. I don't know how to get the light to stay on. She uses this to get across the street to get her mail. She is an 82 ye

Hi, I'm having a similar issue with my jeep lantern as well. It's actually a really nice lantern, however, when I plug it in with the power cord, it seems like it is A LOT brighter than when it's just running on batteries alone. When using the turn button, it does get brighter and dimmer, just not to the extent I would like it to be as I use the lantern at night as well to do things such as checking the mail and going to my vehicle. I feel much safer with the light at night, but obviously can't keep it plugged in when walking around my property. It just is not as bright running on just the batteries. I'm not sure if there is a mechanical error with the product, but I've never noticed the difference between the brightness until recently. I changed the batteries and it just didn't make a difference. Just wanting to get some advice to see what I could do to try and make the light brighter. Maybe it has to do with the new batteries I bought, however, they are GREAT batteries I purchased and I don't think that is the issue. Some suggestions would be helpful. :)

Rayovac 360 sportsman lantern wont work

Since batteries and bulbs are new/ok, check for a bad connection. In older version using 4 lantern batteries, open the battery compartment by unscrewing the knob on top of lantern. The lantern bottom comes off once unscrewed (of course you did this to change batteries). There is a "C" clip on the lantern center shaft; remove this by prying with screwdriver or with pliers. Carefully raise the battery contact plate and check slip-on wire connections. Clean as needed (Scotch-Brite works well) and reconnect. Squirt some contact cleaner in exposed switches, work switches back and forth. Inspect circuit board for obvious corrosion or damaged parts (this damage may "total" the lantern). Re-install plate aligning grooves with ribs. Install batteries and test.

I am trying to find a 120 Volt AC adaptor for my Swissgear lantern.

The adapter need to match the charge voltage requirements of the battery in the Swissgear lantern.
This voltage maybe written on a label on the lantern.
i suggest go to the shop where you purchased the lantern for the charge adapter.

It does nothing does not even turn on

There is a possibility that a fuse has blown and just needs to be replaced, I have worked on a few similar units with the same result.
