Make sure that your computer's OS matches the product specs for your player. If it says Windows XP only, it may not work with Windows Vista. If it doesn't say Macintosh, then it is not Maac compatible. Check the manufacturer's website to see if they have an updated version of the software - many manufacturers, like Philips, now have updated software available on their website to support Vista and other OS's.
