My friend just installed my subwoofers into my car. They are Dual 12 inch 1100 Watt speakers with a Pyle 1400 watt 2 channel amp. He installed his own speakers in his car so i trusted him with mine. He finished installing them and now whenever I use them and turn the volume up (not too loud at all) All the music stops, then only my Subwoofers start making a really loud roar and i can't turn them off untill i turn off my entire car. Why is it doing that? and how should i fix them?\r\n P.S. It only seems to happen when I'm listening to music from my Ipod in the audio jack.

Cannot get pyle driver 413 bridgable mosfet1000 watt amp to work with 800 watt subwoofer . followed instructions all the lights are lit but no sound need help

just wondering how you connected the amp . you should do the following steps
1 battery cable with right size fuse at battery
2 remote wire from radio
3 rca cable from audio out from radio
4 ground the amp to a good clean piece of metal

then make connection on the amp
1 battery or power cable to the 12volt connector on the amp
2 remote wire to b+ or rem on the amp
3 rca cabel should be pluged in the channels are using cause you tell me that the amp is 4 channel
from the model numbers
4 clean and scrape off paint on the metal surface you are going to install the ground cable from the amp . make sure your ground is no more than 12 inch max. and is the same gauge as the power cable
5 . run your speaker wires to the amp and make sure your ohm load for the subwoofer is 2 ohms or 4 ohms to make the amp work proper .

SHOULD I GO AHEAD AND BUY A 400 WATT AMP?

All amps aren't created equal. More exspense amps put out "cleaner" power. You need to know what the RMS power rating is for the amp at 8 ohms and 4 ohms. Also, is the speaker an 8 or 4 ohm speaker? How you wire a speaker or speakers (series or paralell) can change the ohms (resistence) which will change the power put out of the amp. Also, I'm assuming you are setting it up in mono?
