Question about HTC Advantage X7500 Smartphone

1 Answer

I have a HTC Advantage X510 and whenever I plug earphones into the device and then remove them, the speakers don't make any sound for a while so I can't listen to it outloud, yet I can still listen with the earphones in and my ringtone still plays when I receive a call but their voice doesn't come through the speakers, I've checked through the settings and can't see any ways of fixing it, help?

Handset earphone doesn't work.

Sometimes the earpiece plugs up with dirt/dust, which could potentially block enough sound that you can't hear anything through it (my HTC OneX+ is doing this, and I've been using the speaker-phone on it for months now. Someday I'll take it apart and clean it... someday...) You could try removing the casing and other components to get at the speaker and clean it up.
Your phone's earpiece could also be non-functional. I'm not sure about this particular model, but as with many HTC phones, the little earpiece speaker can usually be replaced. The hard part is actually getting to it...

No voice during normal call

it looks that you have a hardware problem you can fix that by replacing the earphone speaker ( or if you don`t want to just use a handsfree kit)

Cano't change from speaker 2 earphones. volume on speaker alltime

Hi,

It is a conflict of drivers in some PC's.

First make the sound device to speaker as default.

1. Click Start, type Sound in the Start Search box.
2. Click Sound in the search results at the top of the Start menu.
3. Click the Playback tab. Notice the check mark next to the default device. For most users, the default device is Speakers. Make sure that your audio settings are configured as expected.
4. On the Playback tab, select the playback device, click Configure, and then make sure the configurations are set correctly.
5. In the Playback tab if you are unable to find the Speakers then please right click on any of the devices under playback tab and select Show disconnected devices and Show Disabled devices.
6. Select Speakers, and then click Set Default. (If you find Conexant or anything similar to that click on it and select Set Default)
7. Click OK to save your settings and to close the Sound dialog box.
If speaker is set as default, then re-install drivers.

Uninstall the Sound device:

1.Click Start, and in start search type device manager and press enter.
2.Expand sound, video and game controllers, and right-click on the Sound driver and choose uninstall.
3.Check the option for delete the device software for this device.
4.Now restart the computer and boot into normal mode.

Now, uninstall the programs and features:

1.Click Start, and in Start search type programs and features.
2.Choose the audio application and click on Uninstall.
3.Restart the computer.

Upon restart, install the audio driver from the disc which is given by manufacturer of the computer.

Please let me know if this works.

Regards,

Nags

PC Speakers will not work

This may be due to the plug on the computer. when the earphone is plugged it moves a piece of metal that connects to the shank of the earphone plug. When the plug is removed it shoukld spring back and reconnect the internl speakers. if this does not happen due to loss of springiness the speakers will remain mute

I have no sound on my HP Pavillion laptop

I had the same problem, but now its solved!

Brieftly speaking, my internal speaker stopped producing sound, but when I plug earphones in, there is sound in the earphones.

Just plug in-and-out ur earphones several times (it took me 5 tries) and voila internal speakers work again!

I think there is a mechanical sensor inside the sound output (plug for the earphone) so that once it senses a plug getting in, it shuts internal speaker.

Maybe the mechanical sensor was jammed (spring problem i guess) and it still believe that u have ur earphones plugged-in. "Clogging" the hole for the earphones would allow the spring to spring back to initial position...

Hope it helps

Logitech Speaker Help

Unfortunately, Logitech doesn't sell the wired remote controller separately. And that seems to be infamous for going out.
What worked for me (with no sound and no blue light on the remote connector) was to plug a set of earphones into the earphone port. As soon as I did that, the blue light came on and the sound was restored, even after removing the earphones. Someone else said both speakers worked properly while they had the earphones in, but not otherwise.
