Question about Dryers
The "PF" code means power failure and is displayed because of the tripping of the circuit breaker in the house; there's indeed a power failure. The cause of the tripping of the breaker is the root cause of the PF being displayed. Most like a short circuit is in the heating circuit particularly the heating element. Find the short circuit location using a circuit tester and remove it in order to address the problem.

Thanks for using FixYa. PF means power failure and it seems to be the issue with the Thermal Fuse going bad and needs to be replaced. It is mounted to the exhaust duct inside the back cover panel. If that is fine then the issue is with the Control going bad and should be replaced. Please accept the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.
