Infoprint 1585 The paper is getting jammed at the photoconductor. I changed the photoconductor but it is still jamming. I am also now getting a 201.00 error code. What could cause this type of error?

Would the error code indicate that you would need to change the rollers or would that be another problem alltogether?

Would the roller kit that I need be the 40x0954 feed roller kit?

  • twingfiel341 Sep 28, 2010

All 6 feed rollers were changed and it made no difference. The paper is jamming going into the photoconductor.

Error code 20 is a paper sensor error, and the paper sensor should be checked, and the paper rollers replaced if cracked.
Errors in the 200 range indicate a paper jam somewhere that should be checked for.
I couldn't run down any precise information on error 201.00, so you might contact Lexmark support to try to get some insight on that precise error.
Here is their support site:

Good luck, and hope this helps.

Hello,

Among the most common problems with any make of machine are paper jams. A machine will jam for any number of reasons: It's dirty, the wrong paper type is being used, or the rollers on the machine that feed the paper through its pathway are worn down. While cleaning the machine periodically and using the correct paper type are easy fixes, also, if all this are done and the machine still jam, you will need to replace the rollers on the machine, once this replaced, the problem should be fix.

Take care.

The fuser rollers might be damaged. Check if the fuser rollers are damaged because if they are they can cause the paper jam, and might need to be replaced.

Open the printer and with a blower clean it thoroughly.
This resolves the paper jam issue many times.

Printer does not feed paper and display keeps saying paper jam

This is most likely cause by a paper jam in the printer. Simply open the printer up and remove and paper jams then reassemble the computer. I hope this helps and have a nice day!

After changing photoconductor kit and toner, paper jam light stays on and will not go out.

First Make sure you follow the instructions in this link to properly replace and reset your Photoconductor Kit http://bit.ly/9mfe3G.
The if the error light is still on then there might be a piece of paper somewhere in the printer blocking a sensor. Make sure there is no paper jammed in the printer and if there is no paper then a paper sensor is probably damaged.

How do I fix a paper jam cef for epson aculaser cxn11nf?

Diagram of doors should be above control panel of printer.

Lift ADF/Scanner up. Open door "C" just below it. Lift orange photoconductor lever up to release photoconductor. Lift photo conductor up towards you. Inspect for jammed paper and remove if necessary. Replace photoconductor, close lever and door "C".

Open door "E" on rear of printer and look for jammed paper and remove. Close door "E".

Last place to look is in paper tray. Take stack of paper out and look for paper jam. Removed as needed.

These are the three places i have had jams and you will only find the jam in one of them. Most likely it will be in back in Door E

Infoprint 1634 repeatedly jams

It may be time to replace the Fuser.

There is no certified way to repair a Fuser with purchasable parts, the assembly it self must be replaced.
