How TO Diagnose Air Suspention on 2001 Ford Expadition

If compressor is running, a spray bottle with a soapy water solution should reveal right where the leak is. Easiest to shot across the vehicle from underside. Driver side- shoot from passenger side, and passenger side shoot from drivers side.

If no bubbles appear, the issue may be in the valve controls.

Pilot won't light. Have gas to unit. Ignitor not working but trying to light with lighter. Feel resistance when holding down pilot button.

sounds like the spring for pilot not working, if you get a flame and let the button go and flame stops this is usually the thermocouple but if you can't get falme at all you need to firstly test the heaters inlet gas pressure at valve to make sure you have gas, which should be done by a qualified gas fitter another thing is that the push button itself has lost its spring and getting caught on something which again needs heater pulled apart for so if you not a gas fitter i'd suggest taking to a appliance repair center or the wholesaler you bought5 from to get service agent contact details to have someone have a look

I have a williams model 4007732 heater. It just stoped working. I replaced the thermo coupler hoping it was the proble. But no, the heater still will not maintain the pilot light. So should I just...

if you have replaced thermocouple make sure your connection to valve is tight enough as i have found new heaters where a slight tighten on connection is all they need if not its the pilot spring inside valve some valve this can be fixed others replace valve altogether an old trick we used to do on solanoids that work similar was to give a tap on the area where slide or spring located it worked sometimes and sometimes only over night so probably easier to change valve in heater, one more thing before you change valve take pilot assembly out and check where pilot flame comes from found spider webs inside before stopping the pilot and in some cases pilot lights but like a lighter straight up missing thermocouple all together and is yellow because oxygen is reduced because of web sounds unbelivable but i ordered a full pilot assembly for a flame fire once changed to new took old one apart and found spider web then talking to the service guy who trained me said it was a common fault for him so it does happen

Do,not override the safety features on any units unless youre qualified. These are not overides ,but safety switches to tell when something is not right! Anyway, its time for a fall service overhaul or kit ---plug---fuel filter---2 air filters --clean the flame sensor---and vanes in the pump replaced. You can buy the kit and parts that you need a your local lawnmower repair shop or have them to order them!

How to install programmable thermostat

If it is a wall furnace with a built-in thermostat(sounds like the 1 to 10 dial is the thermostat) into the control then you would need to buy an updated gas contol valve that will hook up to an external thermostat and a programmable thermostat. The old gas contol valve would need to be removed and the new one installed. Then the thermostat wires would connect to the gas control valve millivolt system. A heating company can perform this service for you and I highly recommend you have it professionaly installed if you are not experienced on this process. You could leave a gas leak or other hazardous situation if not installed correctly.

Need to know where the heater core and heater control valve are for a 2000 chevy silverado 1500 v8. not sure if it has a heater control valve

The heater core is on the passenger side under the dash within the heater airflow contoller box. If you had Xray vision and could look straight through the glovebox, then you would see it. The heater control vale for the water flow is on the passenger side top of the engine near the firewall. It will have a domed top with a vacuum line to it and it is placed into the heater core supply hose.

On GE refrigerator modelPSS26NGPB - it doesn't make enough ice. The tray should be full after a couple days but there's hardly any ice in the bucket and it is so slow coming out of the shute.

I believe there are three cycles in order to make ice. There is a switch that sends a signal to the water valve for the icemaker to fill. Then once the ice is made, heater under the tray comes on and the switch to turn the auger comes on for the ice to drop out. And of course, there is a over flow bar (on out side the ice maker) that can shut the whole process off until you physically push it down or is released as the ice level goes down. If any of these process malfunctions or any of the cycle is stuck, then you will not have as much ice or will not get any ice.
You almost have to listen to each cycle when you are home and check for each cycle WATER _ FREEZING _ ICE DROPING to see if you detect anything as what could be wrong.

Sometimes the spring inside the valve can be jammed. If it will not go down and by chance you are unable to force it down, then chances are it won't stay up either. So in all...You will have to get new valve.
