THIS I HAVE SOLVED ON MY OWN HP9700 LAPTOP. GO TO INTERNET OPTIONS>ADVANCED TAB AND AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE YOU WILL SEE A BUTTON TO "RESET INTERNET EXPLORER TO DEFAULT SETTINGS". THIS WILL CLEAR YOUR PROBLEM WITH IE. IT WILL GO BACK TO ITS SETTINGS BEFORE THE FREEZES. I HAVE USED THIS AND IT WORKS GREAT. SEE IF THIS DOESN'T CLEAR YOUR PROBLEM. GOOD LUCK.

Well you can delete the main application that way however you will need to remove the remaining from the registry. You can use registry remover like Tuneup Utilities 2009 that will help you remove all unwanted registry. You can download this utility for free Trial and use it for 30 days.
