Want to reset to factory... i have an hp pavilion 7920

Most manufacturer's reserve a small partition on the stock hard drive for returning the PC to factory state. When booting the PC, an option should show "repair your computer" or something along those lines. Try pushing either F12 or F8 when booting to bring up this menu.

How do I get rid or my browsing history? I've followed instructions but nothing happens. A green line appears to cancel but doesn't stay on for more than a second.

Try to download Webroot Window Washer and then install it. After installing it, run it on your pc and click wash computer. It would totally delete any browsing histories and other unnecessary internet files.

When I boot up my scaleo p there are verticle bars or lines on the Fujitsu splash screen, windows 7 also won't boot properly or repair. How do I get around this?

Lines on the screen are always caused by a faulty video card, if the video card is build into the motherboard, you may be able to use a pci or pci-e/agp video card to get around that issue, if your inwodws 7 still doesn't start then do a fresh install. I've written instructions here How to install windows 7

Hi i just got a acer desktop with window vista . i am trying to use msn im messeraen but it want let me send

First, try restarting the computer, if this does not fix the problem then you can try re-installing messenger.

Go to control panel, under programs, click uninstall a program. Then find Windows Live messenger in the list(it may take a while to load). Click messenger, then click uninstall. You will need to go through the installer following the instructions.

Then you can download Windows Live Messenger again from the microsoft website. Click here for a link. You can download and install the program by following the on screen instructions. Make sure you read through and choose the right settings.

Then when you run messenger this should fix the problem. If it does not or you need more help, then let me know and i will do my best.
