Stir fan not working

Stirrer fans in microwave ovens are old technology which has almost universally been replaced by turntables. I haven't seen one for 20 years or more.

I believe the stirrer fan is driven by a small synchronous motor. That type of motor is very reliable and long lasting and rarely suffers electrically, though that isn't impossible. They are, however, prone to seizing in some environments due to the design of the bearings which are fully exposed to the elements and mostly are of a sintered material impregnated with lubricant.

Mostly freeing off and lubricating the synchronous motor is quite straightforward if that is found to be the problem when you investigate.

On my 1998 olds 88 I don't seem to have a good volume of air coming from the vents. The fans blow the a/c is cold but just not good air flow. How can increase the air flow?

Hello and welcome to FIxYa!
You may want to check on the vents for it can be closed half way. If the vents are good then the problem will surely be on the blower itself. It can be worn out that's why the blower motor blows weak. Once replaced I believe you'll be good.
Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa! Have a good one!

Weather king model 13pja36a01 Heat pump The outside fan runs slowly, compressor starts then immediately stops. I replaced the run capacitor, I believe this might be the fan motor going bad but I...

If you have replaced the run capacitor and the fan still is running slow you definitley need to replace the motor no doubt. you can go online to Grainger.com or find one by your house. Your compressor is going off immediately because high pressure thats a good thing. Get a new fan and a new capacitor and you should be good.

Automobile cooling fan problem.

There are two relays for the cooling fans, one or both may be bad.
With the engine running and the AC on, the fan should be running.
With the engine hot the fan should cycle. I believe the relays are mounted on the drivers side front fender on that model.

What is the part number for the outdoor fan motor?

as old as this unit is you probably cannot read the label on the motor it is either a 1/4 or 1/3 horse power 230 volt motor. a generic motor will work fine, use a 1/3 to be sure. also replace the capacitor so it matches the new motor. if you can read the label the part number is on it, should be an HK # with about 7 more digits

I have a GE central air conditioner model

If you are talking about the indoor fan it is probably a bad capacitor. Replace the fan motor capacitor. And YES, if the fan motor needs replacing too, you can DO-IT-YOURSELF.

Light works, fan does not. Fan motor has low hum but blades don't turn

How old is this? The motor has failed windings and carries a pretty long warranty I believe 25 years was the norm? eric
