Rehman, are you wearing wool socks and getting static shocks, ensure your cable(wire) is in good undamaged condition or replace. press the helpful button and follow me for more tips
Always keep in mind that if electricity is passed through our brain or upper portion of body where hearts & lungs are affected the electrical shock is likely to be fatal. To avoid electrical shocks and fatal shocks pl do following: 1. Don't touch electrical device or leaky cable with wet hands 2. Before doing any electrical job (even ironing) use clear hill chappal/shoe or stand on any insulator like rubber mat etc. 3. Always presume that any metalic body or cabinet or exposed metal part of an electrical device may give you shock and keep you ready with preventive measure as told above. 4. Switch off device and remove power cable wherever possible before opening/trouble shooting of electrical gadget. 4. The most important: if anybody gets a shock don't touch him/her with your hands. Just use your leg to disconnect him from electrical system. Otherwise electricity will pass through your heart making you lethal shock. 5. As neutral of a power plant is put into earth, the supply line has a tendency to close the circuit to earth through a load (conductor). Don't give any chance to make that 'load' with your body. So never touch live wire or insulate your body to stpo flow of electricity to the ground/earth and remember not to allow passing of electricity through upper part of body. 6. Don't do any electrical job after taking bath. Wet body gets very low resistance and helps in passing high amount of current during contact with live wire. Higher current through body means more danger for life. These small tips will protect you & your family members from any lethal shock. Pl teach this others also. Battery drain caused by a short to ground (frame or body) somewhere. Most likely this short is intermittent, which makes the dash lights flicker, similarly the power steering assist. Most likely the trunk switch issue is the "short to ground" . Visually inspect carefully all wiring in near and by the switch, and Air Shock Pump. I like the new very bright Led flashlights for this kind of thing. You may also discover the short by observing the trunk electrical in the dark while the engine is running thus viabration causing the intermittent behavior. You may see flashes from the short (if you are lucky) Otherwise it will take a lot more inspection and checking. Good luck, hope it is the easier to find in the trunk.
Get yourself a $5 electric socket tester at a place like Lowes or Home Depot and check all of your electric plugs it will tell you if all three wires in the socket are correct, wire wrong or if one is open,

Possible that the motor has failed and it has developed a leak to the body which seems to be felt over the machine, Isolate the motor and test the external voltage presence.. if absent it can be related to the motor.
first try to upgrade the unit, if still the same then check if the aux is ok, if aux is ok, then it points at the docking arm, if the aux is not ok, then it relayes to either the power supply of the main interface board, they would check the power supply at b and w as this is a known problem, then following that they should check to see if anything else is wrong. contact your point of sale or b and w service.
send it back, flashing light is a power supply board problem, comes to light in all models except most recent z2 models.
return and it should be fixed by compamy foc .
if flame not flickering and you can see the globes lighting flame its the fan that moves the ribbons is faulty unless it has fuse to it which may have blown, but how the flame works is by globes lighting through ribbons that are moved by a fan to give a flicker effect unless its rotating glass wheel like some, that turn with the globes behind that give you a flickering effect its always better with electrical to have an electrician look if it was the globes yes that is an easy replace but to change a fan or rotating glass wheels
