    1) If Sound Card is already installed, check that motherboard driver is installed.

    2) In some Notebooks, you need to install Sound Drivers 1st, then Video driver.

    try the two options.

Hi, i got problems with sound in 64bit win7. After some starts (1from3) i got no sound, speaker icon (analyzer) shows there is sound but no sound in spekers. Helps just reinstal audio driver or resrart of...
The first link is your card with specs. The second link is for AMD. I would use AMD for download cause your card is AMD, with Radeon HD 3300 integrated. Sound is VIA VT1708S. I think Amd would work better for you and would try them, I know it's a pain in the ****. And, if you've done this before, you know you have to install Asus software before installing AMD.
Just for giggles, how is your card hooked up? You should be able to get sound through The HD3300. Do you have an ATI DVI adaptor? Go to "device manager" and click on box with + next to "sound video and game controllers". You should have a dropdown showing your devices.Right click on the Radeon or HD device and you should see "enable" or "disable. If you see enable, click on that. Click on your other devices and disable. Last thing, check your volume. If you need help with this, let me know at "add a comment"

No audio sounds

Hi Jay,

When was this happened, after you've notice that there was No Audio?

Check on the taskbar first, on the lower right corner look for the speaker icon. Check if there is red cross out circle on it. If so, your sound is only muted, Un-check it! Now, If you are using Headset/Monitor try to adjust the volume into higher one(as max as you want) to check if the problem is only on output source/accessories. Or maybe, audio driver was not installed in your computer. Right click your My Computer and hit Properties > Hardware Tab > Device Manager see if theres is Yellow Question mark beside Speaker icon. Then you must update/install the accurate sound driver for your computer.

No audio output device installed

Have you tried reinstalling the sound driver? if not, click on start, then click on search. type in device manager, then press enter. click the arrow next to sound, video and game controllers. Double click on High Definition Audio device, if it says that the drivers are not installed, click on install drivers.
hope this would help.

Sounds like you are running Vista. If so, do you know if you are useing the RealTek Audio?

I found many references to this issue but I am not sure which may apply to your problem. Here is a set of steps to follow from another site: (Assumes Vista and Realtek)

  • Open Vista’s Control Panel (Window | Control Panel)
  • Open the Realtek Audio Manager (not “Sound”)
  • In the navigation bar in the far right, there is a little yellow folder icon. It is just below “Device advanced settings” and above “ANALOG”. Click the folder icon.
  • Click “Disable front panel jack detection” so that a yellow check mark shows up. Hit “OK”, and close the Realtek HD Audio Manager. That should re-enable the sound.

Speakers not working

It may be cause of some problems, at first you should find that what's the source of this problem,so I suggest you some ways:
1. Plug in other speakers to your pc, if it works so the source of problem comes from your speakers and you should fix it, and if it doesn't work, too, it means that your PC and your Sound Card has a problem.
2. If source of problem comes from your PC, be sure that you installed your sound card driver.
3. After you installing sound driver, maybe the problem will terminate! if not, I suggest you reinstall your OS.
Note: You could find your sound card driver by a simple search through Google or Yahoo and find your driver.
Good luck
