I have an old CASIO 120CR-B cash register, which just keeps coming up with E94 all the time. There is no paper jam, and impossible to set the time & date in PGM, as it also blocks with E94, so unable to press anything. I don’t know if you could suggest anything else, or maybe the till has just ‘done it’s day’ ?!! Have done everything in manual !

E94 is definitely a printer failure message, so if you can't find a paper jam, then the printer has a sensor problem or possibly a broken gear or changeover coil. In a budget machine like that one, the printer is usually replaced, but it costs half the price of the machine, so it may not be worthwhile.

I went to use a Casio 120 CR-B and it keeps saying E94 and no matter what i do, nothing happens. What is the problem as I don't have a Manual?

E94 means printer failure. Check for paper jams or any reason why the printer can't turn. Otherwise, there is a common problem in the sensor on these printers so it may need a repair.

Sir good evening i have cash regester casio 160cr.Error code is e94 pls help how i can run my cash regester thanks.

I suggest you to reset your equipment. Here is how:
Remove AA batteries and unplug register from wall for 15 minutes.

Two more options;
Option #1:
To print the transaction details before clearing the journal memory:

VERY IMPORTANT: Do not interrupt once printing begins or the journal will not be cleared.

1. Make sure the paper is full in the register.
2. Turn to Z mode.
3. Hit the RC key until the screen displays "E94".
4. Hit Cash Amount Tender.

Once the printing is completed, the journal is cleared and the register is ready for use.

Option #2:
To clear the journal memory WITHOUT printing the transaction details:

1. Turn to Z mode
2. Hit RC key until the screen displays "E94 Clear"
3. Hit Cash Amount Tender

We have an error showing - E94 and we cannot get any keys to ring or open the cash drawer. How can I fix this?

This sounds like a Casio. E94 refers to printer failure. Check to make sure their is nothing jamming the printer. Remove the paper/ ink cartridge etc, then turn off at wall. Turn key to REG. Turn on at wall

E94 code

I personally don't know. But try this. Go to the casio site probably www.casio.com, and try to download a manual, or google casio(use model number)+manual . no spaces in the search. Most times I have had good luck with this method. It works with older faxes, phones, etc. good luck

Cash register showing E94

Hi. It has a printer fault. Make sure there is nothing stuck in it. If the printer spins at turn on then it is probably an electrical problem and you need to take it to a dealer.

Casio 120cr-b cash register

Hi. If the printer spins at turn on, then gives the error, it will most likely need the printer repaired. This is a common problem with this printer. It has nothing to do with ink. If you want to replace the ink, you buy a new ink roller for it. NEVER re-ink the old roller or you will have trouble. Suggest you take it to a Casio agent to have the printer repaired.
