Yes this will work as long as the printer has a USB port on it and you have the correct drivers for the printer installed on your machine.
You may need to factory reset the printer depending on how it was set up networked.
a NVRAM initialisation resets everything in a cold reset plus serial number, page counts and EIO cards - use with caution.
0. print-off a selftest/configuration page first to reset things if necessary. 1. remove all installed accessories. 2. power off printer 3.
power on printer. When the memory count begins, press and hold the
"down arrow button - keep holding the "down arrow" button until all
three control panel lights flash once then remain on (can take upto 10
secs) 4. Press the "Up arrow" button. 5. Press the Menu button - the display should show SKIP DISK LOAD 6. press the "UP arrow" button until NVRAM INIT is highlighted 7. Press the "tick" button - the printer continues its power-on sequence.
You Have to set label size in the printers driver. A hundred diferent label sizes can be used but the driver must know the size to layout the bitmap correctly
Goto printers and faxes then right click on your zebra printer driver. Left click properties and then left click the advanced tab, then left click printing defaults button. In the zebra designer driver size is on this page. The Zebra Universal driver you click a few levels deeper by clicking paper output then paper size. If your size is not listed in the drop down arrow then click customize, then highlight user defigned on the upper left off the screen and enter your correct label size.
You need to make sure the media and ribbon are installed correctly, and then make sure the printer is calibrated. Once you verify the media is correct, power off the printer and then back on. It should feed a few labels. Then press the button to feed again to make sure it feeds only one. If it does, then the printer is set. Now, when you go to print, if it still acts up, you need to check either the driver settings or the software settings. Label size could be set incorrectly.
You possiblely have a font set wrong in your printer. Push the green check button, arrow down to printing, push the check button again, arrow down to PCL and push the green check button again. Arrow down to Font Source, push check button again and check setting, should be internal. Push the left arrow button till you get back to Font Source and down arrow key to Font Number, all ours are set to 3. Left arrow key back to Font Number and down arrow again to Font Point Size, all of ours are set to 12.00. To get back to ready, uset the left arrow key.
If this is all correct, then it has to be in your software.
