Question about Motorola Stereo Bluetooth Headphones

1 Answer

My Motorola S305 stereo bluetooth headphones' foam pads on one of the ears is falling off. I've tried using something like a credit card to pinch the foam back into the game where it seems to be held in, but every time I remove them, it seems to come loose even more. Is there a better way to secure the foam padding on this headset?

I actually managed to figure this out on my own a month or two ago, but it's good to have that online for someone else to find. In my case, I used the edge of my credit card to pop it off, re-wrap it and reattach.

    Thanks!

Hey, this might be too late to help you, but I figured I'd share in case anyone else came across this while looking for help (as I did).
There's a small inner ring that the edge of the foam ear pads wraps around, but you can't really fit it under there while it's attached to the earpiece. The solution? I used something thin (specifically a nail file) to remove this "ring". It actually seems designed to pop on and off. I was then able to easily wrap the foam ear pad around the ring, then re-attach the ring to the rest of the earpiece.
Hope that helps!

I'm not sure why I had such a hard time understanding where the headphone separated, the previous instruction was correct although just to be super clear... when you insert the nail file (or similar object) it goes right in the crack where the foam meats the body of the headphone. The foam will pop out just as previously described.

Thanks... I watched two YouTube videos, but this was the only place to explain it clearly.

If you paid via credit card you can always get help from the credit card company and/or your bills. If cash purchase, you are at the mercy of the store giving you a duplicate so you can initiate a warranty claim.

I doubt you will be able to find the original foam ear covers. Try taking your headphones to a Radio Shack or Best Buy and see if they have something that will fit.
