My Samsung colour xpression keep telling this message "The door is open" and doesn't let me to copy.

Dear
You have not mentioned the model. However you can download the SAMSUNG EASY PRINTER MANAGER which can show which door is opened. The door has a leaver which close the switch inside the printer to acknowledge the door is closed, either the lever broken or mis-aligned. You can check it with a insulated plastic knife pushing the sensor switch.
hope the above may get you some idea.
thanks.

Canon 6035 keeps telling me to add toner when it is already full...error goes away after i open and close the hopper door..this seems to happen after every 5 or so copies(sorting and stapeling)

How do you know it's full? Did you record the copy count when you put the toner in? The only time the copier will indicate that it needs toner is when the developer unit is empty or if the toner sensor is not in contact with toner, you should hear a very high pitch squeal sound coming from the copier. If you are sure you have toner inside the developer unit then the toner sensor is bad. Does shaking the developer unit back and forth a few times help? Maybe the toner has developed a cave inside where the toner is supposewd to be touching the toner sensor.

How we make photocopy in a x1190

Hi,

You can photocopy on this printer by following these steps:

Note: You can make a quick color or black and white copy.

Press Color Copy or Black Copy on the control panel.

To make black and white, gray, or color copies:
1 Open the top cover of the All-In-One.

2 Place the item you want to copy face down on the glass. Make sure

the upper left corner of the front of the item aligns with the arrow.

4 Open the Lexmark All-In-One Center (see page 3).

I have an hp j4580 all in one, and it keeps telling me that there is a "carriage jam"...I can't figure out how to fix it

Open the top and look to the right hand side. There is most likley a piece of paper jammed and keeping the carrier from moving the home position. You may have to pop off the small door on top.

Copy is 90% blacked out

Hard to tell what your trouble is when you don't say what type of machine you have, but some canon copiers had a common problem like that.
The scanner cable would break. Lay an original on the glass and make a copy with the top cover open, if the light under the glass comes on and then goes out while scanning the original, that's what your trouble is.

Dp 4530 error code E03-40

e3-40 usually appears when the copy density sensor is dirty. it is located at the bottom of the drum unit. you may pullout the drum unit from the machine and disassemble it to clean the copy density sensor board. it is a small PCB that has two proximity sensors.

pls. keep in touch if you still need an assistance

Error msg..."close ADF cover". Where is it?

Adf : auto doc feeder

the top that you put the pappers in to copy mare than one sheet.
make sure all doors are closed.

lift doc feederas if making copy on glass look where the hinges are there should be a plunger next to one of them, that is the switch to tell it if it's open or flat. try pressing it down to see if message goes away, it may need adjusting.

Grey Band/lines across page

your problem could be one of many things first try stoping the copy half way in the machine. to do this open the front door and cheat the door switch with some folded up paper or use a flat screw driver to bypass the switch. make a copy and watch the paper when in goes into the drum and starts to come out like 3 inches pull the screw driver or paper out of the switch. carefully pull the paper out from the machine and see if the image is ok. if the marks are there the problem is with the drum. if the image is clear and there is no marks then open the left door on the copier and inspect the rollers in the heat unit. to do this open the left door the front door has to be open to do this. there is a little green lever on the right side pull this down and look at the 2 roller if you see marks on the top roller or dirt on the lower roller this is your problem. also check the miliage reading on the drum if there is a sticker and check the meter on the machine the drum is rated for 55,000 copies.
