Question about AT&T Blackberry Curve 8300 Smartphone
I forgot password. It is disabled now but if I want to enable it, I don't remember password to disable it when it asks for the password. HELP!!
I think all you can do it reset the device to disable the password completely. If you enter the password ten times incorrectly it will ask if you want to do a complete reset.
THIS WILL DELETE ALL YOUR PERSONAL DATA.
If you can, back up your device using the Blackberry Desktop Manager application before doing a reset. Then you can re-load all your personal data after the reset, instead of having to type it all in again.

Okay, I just had this happen to me and here is what I did:
First, I tried loading everything onto my desktop manager, but it asks for your password too...obviously I wouldnt need to if I remembered my password!
So, okay, I took out my SIM card, put the battery back in and with it still hooked up, I entered the incorrect password the last time. Then a big hourglass showed up and the screen said please wait. It said that for a while and then returned to normal.
I put my SIM card back in and went to Options, Security, General and changed my password...very carefully, to something easy and disabled the lock. Then I backed everything up on the Blackberry Desktop Manager so if I somehow wipe it clean, I can reload everything from that.
If you don't have a card, I don't know what you can do, because if you enter your password incorrectly too many times (usually 10) it will erase all the data off the phone for security.

If you forgot your previous password, you can use a PUK code to unlock blackberry curve 8310 password, type any password until your phone asking you to enter puk code. PUK code can you found from your sim card bundle if you don't have it just call your service provider, they will give it to you. That code will make your blackberry unlocked from your previous password so you can setup new password for your phone.
