Debranding Hi there, i have a sgh u900v from vodafone and im wondering how to go about removing vodafones stuff from it ie the operator logo and the vodafone start up screens etc. Ive been told that you can download updated software, that clears vodafones files, flashing or something, but how do you find out was firmware you have and what is updated? Can you help?

My friend sold me their Galaxy S which had been locked to Vodafone. It has been unlocked but how do I get rid of the Vodafone logo everytime I turn it on?

I have investigated this problem with my phone.
The Vodafone logo is embedded on an EEPROM chip on your phone and you cannot remove it.
I have the same problem on my (unlocked) phone, it has a 3 network logo and I'm using a Vodafone SIM card.
Just ignore this, it does not affect the phone's function.

Samsung tocco f480v keeps dropping calls and freezing

try having it debranded.

THis means flashing the phone with non vodafone firmware (v stands for vodafone).

If that does not help its a hardware problem

I want to de-debrand my sony ericsson w960i

As far as i know,, vodaphone fones are not good, i bought myself from vodafone and faced many many problems in the fone and they wash out the orignal software of the fone and install their own software in the fone,, so i personaly recomend not to buy fones from vodafone.
