Hmmm. try running fatback or get another file recovery program. THIS MAY NOT WORK!!! it all depends on what you have been doing with it (read/write). tip! look for a free version(some may just be trials and not the free version, don't use these. they will not work) look on google, or use one you already have. good luck!

How do i put music from my p c to my psp

To play mp3 on your PSP, you'll need
  • A big enough memory stick duo. The 32 Mb that comes with your psp will only fit a few songs. To really make it practical, i recommend that you try and find 1G memory stick. If you look hard enough, you'll be able to find one for about 0
  • You'll also need a Mini-USB (USB A to USB Mini-B) cable or a memory stick card reader to access your memory stick from your pc.
1. Connect to your memory stick
If you are using memory card reader I assume you already know how to do this. If you are using USB cable, simply connect the cable to your PSP and Windows will detect it as a new drive.
2. Copy your music into the folder named "MUSIC" inside the "PSP" folder.
In the memory stick, there should already be a folder called "PSP", if there aren't any, you haven't been playing any games! Inside the PSP folder, find a folder named "MUSIC". If it is not there, don't worry, simply create a new one.

Now, simply copy your mp3 songs into this "Music" folder and you're done. You can also create folders inside the "MUSIC" folder and put your songs there.

Mp3 Playback Tips

  • To save battery, you can turn of the screen by holding the brightness toggle button for more than 1 second.
  • Press the triangle button to view other options such as repeat mode and the built-in help.

How can i get my vedio clips onto my psp i tried getting it by formating my memory stick i tried converters and stuff i tried to make a mp_root folder on my psp and get vedios into it but it was of no use...

Hi,

  1. First, make sure that the video you have is in mp4 format. You can download converters like xilisoft to convert your video files.
  2. Connect your PSP to your computer, and if you see folders names like these (act, codepage, config, data, dic, font, kd, vsh), it means that you need to configure your PSP settings and proceed to steps 3 and 4. But if you see folders names like (iso, mp_root, music, picture, psp, video), go to step 5.
  3. One way is: Hold down select for 5 seconds, go to USB Device and select Memory Stick. Then Exit.
  4. The other is to completely shutdown the PSP. Hold down the R Trigger while turning it on. Go to Configuration and choose "Memory Stick" for XMB Usb Device. Hit Back and Exit.
  5. Create a folder named "Video" if don't have one yet. Transfer you mp4 videos into that folder. Exit and view your videos on your PSP.

I cant play the game in memory stick..

you'd first have to downgrade your psp. try to lower it to 3.50 or 4. something. then insert the .pbp file... this file is a hack.. or an upgrader for a psp.. once you do this.. your psp will be back to version 5.03 but now you can play downloadable games.

Help?

You have to make an ISO folder and put the iso files inside that folder. It has to be in the root of your memory stick or else it won't work. It probably got deleted when you formatted the Memory Stick.

I cannot find mp_root when i connect psp into pc

Okay the easiest way is to re-format your memory stick using your psp. Just make sure you save any files over to your pc (like games saves, pics, etc, etc...)

1 go to system setting on your XMB menu click on it
2 look for format memory stick click on that (make sure you saved what ever you have on your memory stick that you wanted to save because it will erase everything on your card)
3 click yes to proceed and it will re-format your stick and you should have all the necessary files folders on your memory stick.

IF you still having trouble please feel free to ask. :D

Hey i have prob in iso games

STEP 1: CONNECT YOUR PSP TO PC
The PSP can function as a USB Memory Stick Duo reader. Using this functionality, you can copy pictures, audio, and other content to and from your Memory Stick Duo. To access the Memory Stick Duo in your PSP from your PC, you'll need a USB cable that has a "Mini-B" connector (common for digital cameras) and a "Standard-A" connector (common for printers, etc). Plug the Mini-B side into the top of your PSP and the Standard-A side into your PC. From the PSP software, navigate to the top of the settings list and select "USB Connection." Your PC (Windows/Mac/Linux) should detect a new "Removable Disk Drive" that you can then access.
STEP 2: FORMAT YOUR MEMORY STICK
In order to be able to use your new memory stick on your PSP, you'll have to format it. When you format your memory stick, the formatting will create a set of new folders on your PSP: GAME, MUSIC, PHOTO, and SAVEDATA.
STEP 3: EXTRACT THE SAVED GAME
This process will greatly depend on which software you use to extract zip files. WinRAR for instance offers the "extract here" option, which will simply extract the contents of a zip file to it's current directory.
STEP 4: TRANSFER SAVE GAME TO "SAVEDATA" FOLDER
Just copy the folder you have just extracted, and paste it into the PSP's "SAVEDATA" folder. But, BEWARE!, to any folder overwrite warnings! Because the PSP save game folders use the same names for the same games, copying folders into these locations could lead to lost data. For this reason, we recommend that you backup your old save games before overwriting them. For Example, I would simply rename a folder like "ULPS0004" to "ULPS0004_backup."
STEP 5: EXIT USB MODE
Because your PSP has been in USB Mode throughout this process, just push X to exit. Then you can safely disconnect your PSP from your PC.
STEP 6: VERIFY TRANSFER OF SAVE DATA
To verify the integrity of the SAVE GAME data you have just transferred, use the PSP's built-in Save Data Utility. Select it from the "Game" menu.
That's it, simple and smooth.

I cant figure this out

it is like as crash of psp system, If this is the first time you've used the Memory Stick Duo, you must format it with psp to create the proper PSP folder structure. Copy the music/audio files from your computer into the MUSIC folder inside the PSP folder on your Memory,

You can save and play music/audio on your PSP system in the following file formats:
MP3, MP4, ATRAC3plus, WAV, WMA. press triangle for Display or hide the control panel. you can visit http://www.us.playstation.com/Support/PSP/Music/s_psp_mu_CF.html for more helps. hope this helps.
