I have had sucess by unplugging the power cord for a few minutes and plugging back in. Sometimes may take several tries.

What cable do I need to connect to my Power Mac G4?


Your best bet would be a parallel to USB adapter if you can find one that is designed to work with MAC. The Belkin unit seems to get OK ratings. Or connect the 4100 to your network, as the title shows 4100N. Not sure about driver support under MAC, you will need to check HP.com for the drivers.

How do i reconnect the network so i can print directly from my computer through wifi? copier says to check network connection in the back of copier, everything and wifi seems to be ok.


The network connection indication is that the copier is not on network. Bad port, Cable, bad circuit board. Need to figure out what needs to be replaced. Check that the IP address for the copier is correct and agrees with the port address for the print driver

I have just tried to connect my new monitor ... power button comes on but always flashes red and not connecting to laptop. Please help - have checked the connections seems to be OK... aswhen I disconnect...


its not getting any signal from the PC/laptop, the multi pin wire is not connected properly.
you alos need to make changes in your control panel under Display/Monitor/ there must be the option to switch from laptop screen to monitor screen
check the correct option

The printer software seems to have uninstalled. how do i reinstall it


Well, first thing is to check your connections and make sure it is connected to the computer, power, and is turned on.

Next, make sure the printer has paper, and has sufficient ink.

Finally, look for the drivers at the dell website, and download and install the driver.

after it installs and reboots, it should see the printer and you should be ok.

Weak blacks but toner ok


Hi,
Check the colour toner . Dont tell toner seems Ok becoz it wont be so. Also check the printer setting there the black intensity may be in a low mode

check usb connections first

restart scanner

remove old s/w

go here for new drivers for that HP
