Good day. I am looking for xwave a571-t20 ess allegro pci audio driver for windows xp. My previous OS was windows 98SE, when i upgrade to windows xp pro sp1, when you check audio devices in the control panel, its ok and even in the device manager there was no problem, but if i play a song, there's no sound. maybe the driver is not compatible with winxp... Thank you very much for helping me. oscar

SOURCE: no sound device

? mark means no sound driver install or errors in Device Manager. u can check ur mother board cd room or can search ur audio driver in web or below may be ur answer

Question: Where do I locate motherboard sound drivers?
Answer: Users who have motherboards with on-board audio (often with VIA, Realtek, or C-Media chipsets) may have issues with their audio or AC'97 errors in Device Manager. Often this is caused because the operating system has been reinstalled and the motherboard chipset drivers are not installed. To resolve this issue try following the below steps.
Let Windows redetect drivers
If you have not recently reinstalled Microsoft Windows it's possible that your audio drivers are simply corrupt. Open Device Manager and remove all devices under "Sound, video and game controllers" and any "Other devices". Once removed reboot the computer and let Microsoft Windows re-detect the audio drivers.
Motherboard chipset drivers
Reinstalling the motherboard chipset drivers will usually resolve this issue. If your computer came with a Motherboard CD, install the chipset drivers from the CD and the sound drivers if also available on the CD.
If you do not have a motherboard CD, obtain the motherboard chipset drivers from the motherboard manufacturer.
Sound card drivers
If after installing the motherboard chipset drivers you continue to have issues install the sound drivers. We suggest you download the sound drivers from the computer manufacturer or motherboard manufacturer.
A listing of motherboard manufacturers and their drivers can be found on our motherboard chipset drivers page.

SOURCE: installing new Window xp and other devices didnt works

take the side of the computer off and look for the model number on your motherboard. you need to know if your using a network card or if its onboard Lan. if everything you need is onboard all you need to do is search your motherboard number on the internet and download the drivers. you need can select what you need, sound, lan etc. your goning to have to use a friends pc so you can download these files. when your Lan is installed go to the microsoft webpage and get the latest updates, that will solve the usb in your device manager

Hi i have intel D102GGc2 Mother bord with pantium D processor , ATI radeon Xpress200, pci Xpress, LGA775 socket previously running Xp Sp3, now windows 7 wold it work properly wht additional requier to add...

You should have downloaded drivers for your graphics, audio, LAN,WLAN and if required printer for Win 7 before you upgraded too Win 7. If you can, re-install XP+Sp3 and do the downloads that would be the best idea. An alternative would be to use a different computer and download the drivers. For reference, download all drivers for the new OS before you remove the old OS. Good luck.

Software windows 98se

It would be helpful if we knew the Make, Model of Laptop. If the Laptop is that old the hardware specs may not support a software upgrade to say Win XP or above. Windows 98se drivers may be a bit difficult to find. The software has been un-supported for many years, soon XP will be on that list. But it's possible with a search of the Make, Model of Computer and the OS.

hi your computer is not seing the driver of your sound card, you may need to download updated driver for it, you can search for the drivers of your sound card online, you can also find that on the computer manufacturers website.

to see the status of your devices go to device manager for more info.

right click on my computer icon>properties>hardware tab>device manager.

you can also uninstall, reinstall, and update device drivers here.

    hope this helps.

    My Audio Driver CD lost.

Try looking up Xwave with the numbers including on sites like Driver.com is a good one. If you no results then that probably isn't the name of the sound card. Look again on the card and try to find another name. If no luck un install the sound card (with pc off). You may have to start and shut down pc in order for the memory to be reset on the devices configuration. Once you reinstall and turn on the pc a pop up should appear on the bottom right of the task bar by the clock telling you "new device has been detected". Follow what it says, paying attention to what it says about what it has detected. Choose to have windows automatically search for the best driver. Let me know if this helps. There are other sites that offer free driver scans. Just be very careful which your pick as they are famous for tons of 3rd party garbage that believe me - you will not want!
