You need to take the phone to your mobile center and have them either reflash the phone or replace it with a new one.

Lg 220 phone vibates buy does not ring

Open the menu and select settings, Open and scroll to select tones. Now check and see if the settings are activated only on vibrate, if so you can select to tone and vibrate or tones only.
If there is no tone even after this is selected this could be failure of the buzzer unit.

No sound on incomming calls

Hi,why it does not ring out is because, the ringer is damaged..and it needs replacement. Before you replace it,you can clean up where the ringer is,there might be dirt stopping it to work. But you have to unscrew the phone to see where the ringer is.

Please if you have no knowledge about the phone, you can contact a skillful personnel for assistance.

Before that you can trythe below step, might just be a setting problem.

1. Go to Menu > Settings > Profiles
2. Select Profile and then Select General.
3. After selecting General you will be given 3 options (Activate, Personalize, Timed)
4. Select Personalize.
5. In the Incoming Call Alert field, select Ringing.
6. In the Ringing Tone field, select your favorite ring tone.
7. Scroll down, (push down button) the next field would be Ringing Volume. For now select the max.
8. Scroll down to the Vibrating Alert field and set it to Off.
9. Scroll further down thill the very last field where it says Alert For, select All Calls for this field.
10. Save your modifications.
11. Activate the profile and see if it works now.

Only and only If it doesn't work, it may be due to software corruption.
In that case reset your phone to the factory default settings by going to:
Menu > Settings > Press UP button.
Select Restore Factory Sett. give your Security Code (default = 12345) and viola.
(Make backup of your messages ad contacts before attempting this)

Have a nice day.

Why my nokia C3 doesnt ring accordingly although i set the ring tone already?its only vibrate.i'm not using silent mode.

I can imagine it how annoying it would be to you to see your cell vibrating instead of playing your favorite ring tone. Most probably it could be because of incorrect Profile configuration. It is possible to make your phone vibrate in almost every profile so we will assume that it is the reason for your problem too. Do the following and check some parameters as described.

My Nokia 6131 has stopped ringing - it just vibrates when there is a call/text. I haven't done anything different. It's not on silent and I've tried resetting to factory defaults. Any suggestions?

its like the user profile has changed to silent
All you have to do is....
go to the settings on your mobile phone, scroll to profile and select it, click on general or loud, select personalize, check the incoming alert mode and see if it is set to ringing, scroll down and select a tone for the alert then save. after which activate the edited profile as the profile in use..

hope this helps

Cannot get phone to ring only vibrate

To change the Nokia 6133 to ring, do the following-

Select Menu > Settings > Profiles > Select any one profile that is available in your mobile. (Ex. General)

1. Menu > Settings > Profiles > General > Personalise > Incoming call Alert > Ringing

2. Menu > Settings > Profiles > General > Personalise > Vibratibng Alert > Off

After this activate the profile(Ex. General)
Menu > Settings > Profiles > General > Activate

After this the phone will only ring and wont vibrate.
If you want both then change the vibrating alert to On.

Good Luck.

Cannot get the Nokia 2760 to shut off ring and just vibrate. Any suggestions

hi, you need to go to the phones menu then goto settings now under settings look for profile select this then go down to silent and then press the options button it should then ask you if you want to activate or edit choose edit then scroll down and choose what you want on such as ring tone off and vibrate on, once you have changed the settings ok it then all you need to do is go back into profiles and select silent then activate this profile this will then change to the settings you have chosen and do the same to go back enter profile then choose general and this will then put your ringtones back on.

Is there any way to have the screen light up when receiving a text on the blackberry pearl?

1. go to your proflies (where the picture of the speaker is) and
2. scroll all the way down to the "advanced" option.
3. open the "advanced" option
4. scroll to the setting that has "(active)" in parenthesis just as i quoted (this what sound option you have your phone set to either: loud, normal, quiet, vibrate, phone only)
5. open that selection up that has the "(active)" next to it
6. scroll down to and open "sms text"
7. scroll to "repeat notification" and open up the option
8. select the "led flashing" option
9. do this for "in holster" and "out of holster"

Memory card dosent read in my blackberry pearl

I think this works the same on all providers but I have TMobile. I saw an alltell phone and it was just slightly different. Get into your sound profile (where it allows you to set current setting LOUD< QUIET, VIBRATE, NORMAL etc.

1. Scroll down until you see "Advanced". Highlight and open
2. Select your active sound profile, i.e. LOUD.
3. Open it, scroll down to SMS, open it.
4. Under Tune, scroll to BROWSE. Mine is at the top of the list.
5. Select where the tune is stored (MEDIA CARD).
