Re: water leaking from my whirlpool frontload washer
Open the door and check between the drum and door frame. There is a large rubber bladder completely surrounding the drum. Pushing the drum further back into the machine will let you see the entire thing and unfold it. These often get small laundry like socks stuck there as well as sharp objects like nails. You may have a tear in it which will leak like that. Replacement parts run about $70.00.

1. do you have limescale in your source water, if yes you need to clean your machine with a special product that can be found in the market.
2. pressure sensor is broken
3. inlet filter is dirty you can unscrew the inlet pipe and look for a small filter and clean it.
what code is it giving. there should be a paper under front bottom kick panel. that has all codes and sequences on it . or you can google code list . i think it was power button 3-5 sec then any cycle button 3-5 seconds 3 times
I have the same problem I think. During the wash cycle, water sometimes starts spraying/leaking from the detergent dispenser drawer. This orignally only happened during a 'NORMAL' wash and when I ran a 'SPEED WASH' it was ok. Now all of a sudden it's doing it during the 'SPEED WASH' also. I though it might be the water pressure so I turned down the flow going to the washer but that doesn't seem to help. If I knew how the detergent system worked maybe it would be easier to solve this problem.
A washer that leaks often has a leak in the main drain hose. Inspect the entire hose and correct any problem you find. Alternatively, the steel or plastic outer tubs can rust, split, or be punctured. This may be most visible during large loads and high water levels. If this happens, you may have to replace the entire outer tub but that may not be an economical repair to make. Consult a qualified appliance repair technician for further details.
error code f-21 is a simple fix on the front of your washer there is a lower panel that can be removed
with three screws. after removing panel you will see a white plastic piece/plug that you can unscrew
(be prepared for water spillage) remove that plug this is called the coin trap clean out this trap and put back together. this should solve your problem
a quart of water over the course of a cycle is pretty significant, other then trying to remove the fabric softener section looking for a blockage in the dispensor(which is basic and should be real evident ) theres not much more for you the consumer to look for.(or should you have to for that matter its why you bought a NEW appliance). As for the service , you've purchased a Whirlpool product, therefore you can call any whirlpool authorized Company out to service you dont need to wait for Sears!!!!!!!
. HE detergent is a must for these machines first and foremost. as a genral rule liquid detergent breaks down better in cold water, so performs better in washers(cold water rinses). powder breaks down better in hot water which is why its reccomneded for d/w's.that being said i dont really mind which is used where so long as your not experiencing cleanig problems, at that point its when i reccomend using the appropriateone. whirlpool has now reccomneded a product called AFFRESH, tablets that can be used to clean out you frontloading machine incase of residual build op and/or odors.
