Question about Microtek ScanMaker i800 Film Scanner
Hi, just recently my scanner has decided to start turning itself on and off at random times, running thru the start up motions etc, whether or not the power button has been pushed in or not. Also once it starts going, pushing the power button won't turn it off again. I'm running it on Firewire cable on a powerboard. It's been running fine for the last two months at this house until the last week, I left it on a few hours without turning it off and it started going whacky after that. The scanner is about 8 months old no other problems so far. Thanks, any help would be much appreciated!
I do not think u should try to fix it as it would void the warranty since your scanner is only 8 months old. Get it fixed by returning it to the vendor.
