Question about Hasselblad Cameras

1 Answer

When I shoot anything that has a light source in the image (interiors with lamps; windows; tubes in show cabinets; computer screens etc) on my 50mm.lens with my Leaf Valeo 22W back, on anything longer than an 1/8th. sec., even with flash as well, I get a magenta fringing, or if it is a point light source, a magenta edged streak across the picture. It seems only to occur with the 50mm. lens. Anyone got any ideas? I would be grateful for any help.

You can set up the back light correction feature available on the camera menu , reduce the aperture and increase the shutter speed , Additionally the use of correct filters can also help , try not to focus with a back light flashing, avoid the direct but angle it out.

All of the interior lamps are powered thru the body computer. The power source is a 10amp fuse marked CTSY LAMP. The vanity mirror is on the same circuit with the lights for the door lock and power window switches.

LCD Display is Black

the image in the LCD monitor will darken in strong sunlight or bright light. This is normal occurrrence in device CCDs and does not contitute a malfunction. This image will not be recoded when shooting still photos, but it will be recorded wihen shooting movies.Read you owner manual and adjust the MENU, according with your o. manual.Otherwise you must go the repair shop

Why is my Gateway 4028GZ screen black

The display on this laptop is backlit. What that means, in a nutshell, is that the image on the display prevents the output from a constant light source (the back light) from showing through, thus giving a usable image on the screen. From your description, the backlight is no longer operating. This can be an issue with the LCD display panel, the backlight power module, our (less likely) a power trace on the motherboard. Repair would likely cost as much or more than replacing with a used laptop and just transferring your hard drive. If you choose to replace and swap hard drives make certain that the interface on the new laptop is the same as your Gateway's.

I took the back of the tv off and the blue lamp is not bright like the red and green. Could this be a coolant problem or lamp. I have the PT5492S Akai rear projection TV.

The blue is usually dimmer than the other two lens; what I would suggest is try to look into the lens with the set on; BE CAREFUL AND NOT TOUCH ANYTHING INSIDE THE SET.

If the red and green show a picture but the blue looks like a floodlight you have bad Glycol in the blue tube (common in these sets).

If all have a normal picture remember to wipe the lens clean at the top; do not try to take the lens etc apart.

Before you rate this information let me know what you find.

My screen goes blank when monitor is turned on.power light on monitor stays on. What is the problem?

If you look at the screen at a sharp angle and you see a faint Windows image then the problem is a back light fault. This fault can be caused by a faulty inverter board that supplies high voltage to the CCFL lamp OR the CCFL lamp is faulty. The CCFL lamp is a very small diameter fluro lamp/tube and just before they fail completely they product a pinkish light.
Replacement inverter and CCFL lamp are available from this WEB site.

Samsung Syncmaster 2220wm. All of sudden, the monitor went black. It does not show any light at all on the screen. The power light is on (light comes on green). I connected a different monitor, it worked...

Power capacitors on the power board most likely gone. You could get a qualified technician to investigate and repair by replacing the blown capacitiors ( you may notice a charring smell from the back of the monitor if they have gone). Cost of replacement is however likely to be more than the monitor replacement is worth. unlike CRT monitors, these are not designed to be easily repaired

When shooting indoors with my 300d (base rebel digital),I have been encountering some light metering problems.I use the 430ex as an external flash. While shooting a subject in front of an external light...

Set the metering mode to Partial Metering. This uses only 9% of the field of view, centered around the middle square in the viewfinder, as the subject area. If you still find it too bright, try changing the exposure compensation a couple of clicks.

Green Light Blush then nuthing on the screen

Hi this is the way how to examine what's wrong with your LCD monitors. Power on both CPU1.gif and monitor. After it went blank, you have to check if you can see the image on the screen or not by shining a flashlight into the screen, not directly but find the best angle to the screen and take a look very closely. If you can see the icons or any image, there will be a minor problem. Like mine, I can see window image using flashlight and check lamps inside. Some of them were broken and it is very easy to replace. If you cannot see anything on the screen, there'll be some problems with inverter board. If you have soldering tool and want to fix it by yourself, check the caps first. It may cause this problem. Some caps might show leaking or burn spot on the board because of too high temp. If you don't have soldering tool, you better go get a technician to do so.
Thank you,
