SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

My new hot point vented dryer is beeping 3 times when I hit start with the lights flashing, the red clean filter light is staying lit although it is clean??? It's only 6 weeks old

Hi,

Check the vent system behind the unit, or disconnect it and run the unit. Either way sounds like the vent system is obstructed somehow. Good Luck

Lighting hit my computer monitor for my desktop. i have an old montior but every time i hook it up the screen goes black and will not show anything. do i need a new one and if so how do i know which kind...

If you have taken a lightning hit, you may have to have your computer serviced.
You could have a number of problems, video card may be no good., power supply may be no good., motherboard may be no good.
The best thing to do is have the unit checked, this way you are not putting good money into bad.
You can find inhome services for under $50.00 or look for a diognists srvice that you would pay, only if repaired.

My VT-90 will not play

The VT-90 uses 4 CR 2025 batteries. Once you install them you must initialize the unit by holding the "erase all" button for 10 seconds. After a series of blinking the unit is ready again. Good luck.

How to install a new temp sensor Whirlpool electric water heater

The instructions for installing the sensor will probably included with the new part. Also, when you receive the part and actually see it, you will probably know where it will go. Sometimes, things like this happen even with new units. I have had bad thermocouples on brand new units right from the factory. It happens and unfortunately it happens to us sometimes. Good luck and if you get the part and still have trouble, contact them again. If you would have bought a GE (Rheem) unit, they would have sent a tech out to your house at no cost. I'm not a fan of Whirlpool water heaters.

SA-PT750 rear wireless speakers don't work

Just solved this one thanks to another posting on this site.
Turn all components off.
Check to make sure your wireless card is snugly plugged into the back of the home theatre unit. (Of course you already have. Check again, though, while everything is off.)
Turn wireless unit on first.
Turn on home theatre unit.
The W1 light should be on and blinking red at you (darnit!)

Here's the magic.
Hit the >>/>> button on the front of the home theatre unit WHILE you hit the number 3 on your Panasonic remote.
The screen changes to a P
Then, the wireless unit light should change from red to green (HOORRAAYYYYY!)
If you have multiple wireless units, at this point, you should also hit the Set/ID button on the back of the wireless unit (it is the kind of button that requires something to poke into it to set it).

Then simply hit the >>/>> and 3 at the same time again.
All's good.

And by the way, shame on Panasonic. not only do they not seem to carry these manuals anymore (how hard would it be to have a PDF file and a link on a web page?) but the support info they did have did not contain these steps. Thanks to the FixYa member willray411 for posting this first!

I doubt that any fuse blown ot because the unit still works. The LCD panel in these units are very delicate and can easyly break, also there is a small bulb in there that illuminated the backpanl of the LCD. good Luck

Onkyo receiver

It sure dosent sound good!! The clicking sound you here are the protection relays to assist in protecting your speakers from blowing out. Your output devices are shorted it sounds like. Do not ever ever attemp to jump out those relays as it will burn out your speakers and possibly burn down your house!. Theres alot of current inthese amps for high power so if your not a tech and you think its worth it take the unit in to be looked at as there are no serviceable user parts inside these units . Sorry to have to tell ya this.. Good Luck
