Hold the "Fn" key down and look at the F-keys at the top of the keyboard. One of them should look like a mouse or a hand with a pointing finger. Fn + one of the "F" keys should turn the touchpad back on.
Press and Hold the FN function key then hit F2 while holding the FN Key down.
Maybe you don't have your wireless turned on. Look onboth sides and in front for the Wireless Switch and turn it on.
Also once the wireless switch is turned on there are keystrokes that can togglethe wireless on or off. Normally you would Press and Hold the FN functionkey located at the lower left of the keyboard, then hit the correct F1 thru F12key that toggles the wireless. The correct F1 thru F12 key to hit willhave the wireless signal icon )))) on it. Or it might have the icon of a towerwith the wireless signal icon )))). Normally the screen will displayWireless On or Wireless Off when you toggle the wireless.
There should be a switch either along the edges of the netbook, or there could be a option in your number keys.
Look for a colored FN key, which stands for function. Then look at your keys for anything that looks like a wifi symbol, hit the FN+that key and that should allow you to turn it on and off.
First of all just restart the system . Now Check if it works. Check if it works while combining it with other keys . If function keys (fn) works in that case , It should be a keyboard problem. Check all the keys . If you find any issue . Bring it to the service center and replace the keyboard if necessary
The Fn key is a key found usually on the keyboards of portable computers (laptops, netbooks etc) and sometimes on desktop type keyboards.
It is a key usually marked with a blue coloured "Fn" and is located somewhere on the bottom left row of keys.
The Fn key is used in combination with other keys that have (usually) blue letters or icons on them to activate the special functions (Fn) on these keys.
For example, on the laptop I'm writing this on; If I press F5 the computer would perform the action my software has normally assigned to F5. If however I press the Fn button and F5, the computers internal function for decreasing screen brightness is invoked.
Different computer makes have different assignment to their keyboard Fn so you can't generally say press Fn+F5 to decrease screen brightness, it might be assigned to something else, volume or sleep-mode or even nothing. The "blue" text or icon will give an indication of what it will do.
I have an Acer lap top and there is an Fn (function key) Icon on the <i and the i> keys that mimic a sun device. If you hold down the Fn key and tap the I> key down over on the right sideof the machine, then those taps should brighten the screen. Holding down the Fn key (left side) and tapping the <i key will dim the screen.
your webcam is almost certainly turned off. press "fn" (function key) + f6..as you may see f6 has the camera icon as other keys have secondary function that works if u press while holding the "fn" key. hope that helps ^_^
The physical control is found by holding the 'fn' key in lower left and pressing a function key. Which function key...look across the top row of 'f#' keys for one that has a little sun shape and an up arrow. Press the 'fn' key and this function key to up the brightness.
Software control can be found by going into the Control Panel and selecting Power Management. Here you can define how bright (or dim) your computer is in different states (plugged into power or on battery). You can also define how the computer behaves when left inactive for certain amount of time and how the power button works when pressed while computer is on.
For more info, use your Windows help feature or your Medion user's guide. They should be able to tell you how to control brightness.
