Error appears and closes down

Part way through a journey the sat nav goes crazy and shuts down and I've to leave it for hours before it's up an running again. It is still under warranty as it was a free gift with a life policy I took out last August but having work done on the house, I can't find the paperwork. Can you help with a solution.

Can anyone please send me the maps that belong on my SD memory card for a MyGuide 3000 GO Series GPS? Email it to me at derickwatson76@verizon.net. My GPS when I bought it I cleared the SD card by accident.

Check the battery. If the supply from the battery to GPS go below a certain level, this kind of fault can occur. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Viewing it in "Mosaic" or "Magazine" will make surf easy. Pull up older posts. Surf the site with patience. Do a search by type in the brand name of your device at its search box.

Four in ten sat nav users have problems15 February 2007
More than four in ten people who have used a car satellite navigation system have got lost or made a journey which took longer than it should have done, according to a which.co.uk survey1.
38 per cent of survey respondents have used a sat nav system, but worryingly nearly half of them (43 per cent) have either got lost or made a journey which took longer than it should have done.
Around a quarter (26 per cent) of those who have got lost or had a longer journey said that as a consequence they use their sat nav system less, or not at all.---per Nicola Frame

Dell Axim + Tomtom. Routeplanning error

The error during planning is a map error not an OS error. It will give you this warning if you try to nav somewhere that it cant see any way of getting to because there is a gap somewhere en-route. Normally its the last 100 yards or something. The workaround is to nav to an adjoining road or somewhere very close to where you want to end up. Oddly or maybe coincidentally (which I doubt at 60,000 miles per year) I have only had this happen on the new maps.
