Here is a multicard adapter to connect to computer, this instead is a card adapter for card readers to plug straight into socket.

Slot B takes - Smartmedia and XD picture cards.
Slot A takes - Memory stick, SD, Mini SD and Mulimedia cards
Sloct C takes - Compact Flash and Microdrive cards.

What is the drive where the compact flash goes on the R380 printer? I am using Picasa, and when I put the compact flash in the printer only 7 pictures come up. The printer shows that there are 140 photos...

its different, usually starts at f, g, h, i etc
if you have pictures in it, autoplay should open it for you automatically
just look @ the title bar, and it will have the drive letter there!

How to use the memory card reader

To access the memory card reader without using the software provided, follow the steps below. If no card is inserted, the green light on the card reader will be on.
Insert a memory card.
• Insert the card with the brand name label facing up.
• If there is an arrow on the card, make sure it points toward the printer.
• If needed, make sure you connect the memory card to the adapter that came with it before inserting it into
the slot.
Wait for the light located to the right of the slots on the printer to come on. The light blinks to indicate the memory
card is being read or is transmitting data.
• The printer recognizes one memory card at a time. If you insert more than one memory card, a message appears
on the display prompting you to remove all memory cards inserted.
• If a USB flash drive is inserted together with the memory card, a message appears on the display prompting you
to choose which memory device to use.
When reading of images is complete, the number of photos found appears on the display. Then you can make your selection and print. these are the types of memory card supported by you printer.
xD-Picture Card

Xd card wont fit into pixma mp610 needs adapter cant get one anywhere

You can use a USB multiple card reader to see your xd card instead of using your printer slot

Just plug the card reader to your USB port of your computer.
Then select the pic in your computer and print.

You can get one here at very reasonable price (4.55)

Hi usama

Look on EBay for one. You might find one on there. You might be able to get away with using a 64mb compact flash card with a pcmcia adaptor as well as a SD card. It can't be any bigger than 64 mbs.

Search under Ricoh memory cards.

They use PCMCIA as well. If you don't have a notebook with pcmcia you will have to get an adapter card for PCI use on a desktop.
