Question about Canon PIXMA MP530 All-In-One InkJet Printer

My Canon Prixma 530 has the "Memory in Use" light on and will not print. There is nothing in the print cache (no jobs pending). How do I get the printer to print (all other functions still work).

Remove your printer from the PC and uninstall the printer software. Now reinstall the printer software and connect the Printer to be detected and installed. Check printer properties to see the ink levels.
Use head cleaning before a test is taken . It is possible that the head is not reacting to the need of the command , can be an issue with ink drying , can also be poor ink cartridge contacts

I have an ip3500 canon printer that is about 3 years old. I was printing an article this morning and when I went to print another the printer would not respond. The on light is not on. I have unplugged...

Check the printer job queue by clicking on the printer icon in your system tray. Most probably your previous document is still pending or something.

Right click or in the main menu, select delete all print jobs and then try printing... this should solve the problem.

You could also clear all pending jobs through start... control panel... your printer...

Another thing to check for is if your default printer is still the same and if it is showing as online.

Please mark this solved if it is.

Printer says it doesn't have paper when it does

Try to put more paper once. Try to check the paper feeder that they are all well set. Try to reboot printer and windows/OS. Than try to print again. You can also try to cancel all the printing jobs pending and than rebooting and trying printing again. But make sure all the flips, tops, lids and other small stuffs of printers are not lose.

Printer will not print

See that there are no pending files to print in printers memory.

To see that selct Start ---->Settings ----> printers and faxes

Make your printer the default printer and double click on the icon.

On that screen all pending jobs will appear. Turn OFF the printer and cancel all pending jobs.
When all jobs are deleted close the window and turn on printer and resume printing.
