I'm not sure what you mean exactly...

Do you want to sort an existing excel worksheet?
Or do you want to change a cell value depending on the class of students.
You can use if for the latter.
Otherwise just use sorting in excel.

Please explain what you want to do exactly...

How can microsoft word help student to excel in their particular fields

Hi,
Microsoft Word is a part of Microsoft Office Software of inter-related desktop office applications. Word, Excel and Power Point are main and widely used applications, which I think equally beneficial for students as well as executives. In short, MS Word provides facilities like typing a letter, report, thesis etc. Excel is for calculation and Power Point is for presentations. I believe that MS Office is a very powerful and extremely beneficial software. So, I recommend that every student should learn using Office Suite and enjoy its benefits.

Let me know if any further clarification/ assistance is required.

Hope it helps! Good Luck! Thanks for using Fixya!

I can't find a trusted website to download student Encarta premium for free

This is because Microsoft doesn't offer any version of their office software for free. They will provide you with 30 day trials on some office products (word, excel, etc.) but not encarta, outlook, etc..

The benefit of the student and teacher versions is they will let you install the same copy on up to 3 pc's, vs the non student and teacher versions will only allow installation on 1 pc.

I took my PC in for repairs and it came back with a new microsoft windows office student 2007 which is expired and I cannot use my PC. I have my own Windows XP Professional but will not load as it comes up...

Windows and Office are 2 separate products. Reinstalling Windows XP Professional will not get you Office. If you went out and bought Office Home and Student 2007, you should have the box still that has your key on the cardboard insert. Otherwise, you probably had the trial. You can reinstall the trial if you like for another 30-90 days, but I would recommend you go to a big box store (best buy, staples, etc) and buy Office Home and Student 2010 for about $125. That gets you Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. If you need Outlook for email, you need to get the Home and Business 2010 edition for a little bit more.

Hi, I am trying to change an excel spreadsheet. There are unit numbers on the spreadsheet which have converted themseles to dates ie 4/52 has now become Apr-52. I have tried everythiong to change it but...

Right-click the cells and go to 'Format Cells'. Then, select the correct format. If you're wanting to leave the slash (/) in the number, you'll probably have to make it a text format.

I want ms excel,word&power point.

If you already have copy of Microsoft Office then go to control panel,Add and Remove Program, and right click on Microsoft office program and select change and repair it. If you want to purchase a fresh copy then go microsoft store and purchase Microsoft Home and Student edition, because this edition includes all of your need i.e. Word,Excel, Powerpoint and Onenote.

We have activation key for computer. Son caused

Format the hard drive and re-install. Do not swap any letters enter exactly as it is shown.

If that fails and your son is a student you can buy Windows 7 from www.theulitimatesteal.co.uk which is Microsoft's student site
