In order to place an item on ebay to sell is there a forty cent charge for each item, no matter what the item your selling is?

You are partially correct in your understanding: there is a fee just for listing an item to sell. It is not, however, a flat 40 cents. eBay uses a graded insertion (listing) fee system that depends on the starting bid of the item you list. Below is a summary of the tiers, with the starting bid range on the left, and the insertion fee on the right:

$0.01 - $0.99: $0.10
$1.00 - $9.99: $0.25
$10.00 - $24.99: $0.50
$25.00 - $49.99: $0.75
$50.00 - $199.99: $1.00
$200.00 or more: $2.00

Listing upgrades, such as bold titles and additional title lines, will incur additional fees.

eBay currently waives the insertion fee for user's first 50 listings per month. This policy may not be applicable to all sellers, however, and it does not encompass listing upgrades such as those listed above.

I have an account with Ebay and I am being charged every month $15.99, can you tell me what that is for? My account username is lubinum34

When you list an item on eBay, you're charged an insertion fee If the item sells, you're also charged a final value fee. The basic cost of selling an item is the insertion fee plus the final value fee.

The basic fee structure depends on the type of listing-auction-style or fixed price format-you use.

Please rate how this helped you.

Why do they charge $0:50 listing fee in one item listed for 424$, then they charge $20 listing fee for another item, same price of 425$? Pls some one help.

With regard to your question, you were charged $0.50 insertion fee for the listing with a starting price of $24.00 because according to the table of fee for Auction-style format listings, starting price which ranges from $10.00-$24.99 will be charged $0.50. Now, for your other listing wherein you were charge $20.00 it is possible that it is listed under the Business & Industrial Capital Equipment category. How do you get %, like taxes and charging a fee

Example if you want to charge a person 8% of $20 dollars just multiply 20*1.08=21.60 and that gives you the total amount to charge them.

If your total amount is 20 and you charged 8% and want to know the before tax amount you do the opposite 20/(1.08)=18.52

I insert the sim but the phone says insert simcard the phone is nokia 2650 what is the problem of the phone?

"Insert SIM" message means one of two things either the SIM has gone bad (most likly) or the phone is bad. If the SIM is the issue most providers will either provide one free of charge, or a nominal fee (about $20) The only way to confirm which it is, is to try another SIM from the same provider in your phone. If it works the SIM is bad, if it doesn't, the phone is gone.

VLOOKUP Formula

Using IF function or filter to generate the membership type and create a VLOOKUP for that..... Or using filter function you could create a pivot and insert the specific formula per type in that.
