Question about Speed Queen Dryers
As you have read there are basic problem solving ways to trouble shoot this dryer. Checking the heating element, thermal fuse and thermostat should give your the problem. An OHM meter is required to make those tests and one of them can be purchased for 20-30 bucks at any Walmart and many other stores...
The thermostat and fuse will have full continuity if good and the heating element will have resistance but will pas a current through it. Also check the heating element for any places where the coil could be touching when cool but pull apart when heating. Check for any broken or rubbed through wires also...
