Blue screen may come in different causes:
1. Due to a corrupted Operating system, in this case you need to boot your bootable OS CD and try re-installing again.

2. Due to a hardware problem (i.e CD rom, memory, or hard disk). In this case try to re-seat them back and try if it can boot normally.

Try uninstalling a few unnecessary programs then click start run type cmd then type chkdsk/f which will automatically fix any corrupt files on your hard drive then defragment your hard drive
then you should replace all leads that are attached to your hard drive including the ones from your motherboard
hope this helps

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Aspire 5475 freezes on startup

It is most certainly a driver, but if you cant access the safe mode also that could be a hardware issue.. Try to troubleshoot with a windows installation cd. Put it in and boot the pc. It will start the windows instalation, you choose repair computer and not install windows. The command prompt will open, try to troubleshoot from there.. Thanks!

4.When the user selection screen appears please select administrator account & login.

Try starting up the computer in safe mode, by pressing F8 at a certain point on startup.
If it starts in safe mode do system restore.
If you cannot even start in safe mode you will probably need to reinstall windows, you can also try a system recovery, but this does not always work.
If you have a boot disk like ultimate boot cd (you can download some from torrent) you can start system restore, or repair system using the boot disk.
Easiest way to proceed is probably reinstalling system.
