Please confirm steps to format N79

Try this:

Total Reset or Hard Reset

This option restores the original operating system from the ROM.
Formats the C: partition and deletes all data including the memory
card. Key Code *#7370# (click this combination of keys on the keyboard
in the mobile)

Important: To proceed to reset, the battery must be full and the
mobile device connected to the charger. If during the course of reset,
the mobile stop receiving electricity it can ruin the internal flash
memory of the mobile device and stop function

I can't delete photos&videos from my Nokia N79 ,when trying there is message appear of system error

There are certain photos and videos which come factory installed with mobile devices. Try as you may these photos cannot be deleted because they are right protected. But if the pictures and videos are those you put there yourself and they refuse to delete then your device has gotten corrupt. First download ? mobile antivirus for the device and if possible format your memory crd to wipe off all viruses finally. Hope this solution has been helpful?

I am unable to send messages from nokia n79,it goes to outbox instead of sent item

Hi,

You cannot send messages because the message centre number stored in your mobile may be wrong.

Please enter the correct message centre number. To get the correct message centre number please call your service provider and they will provide you the number.

Menu > Messaging >Options >Settings > Text message >Message centres

Thank You

Hi,i want to use my nokia n79 phone in my laptop.can u tell me how its possible.

first put a sun cellular sim on your n79 mobile phone, text modem and send to 2300, you will instantly receive a confirmation message about the configuration of mobile connection as a modem, after that press "install" and you will now connect your phone to your lap top and surf to internet.

Cant send messages but can receive messages on my nokia n79

first try to clear your sent items or archive folder the restart the phone then try to send messages,
next try resetting it to factory setting, but be sure to backup all needed data, including inbox items and phonebook, just go to settings, restore factory settings and it will ask for code, and the default would be 12345, if you havent changed it, if you did changed the code use the code you have set.
if the solutions above doesnt fix the problem you can try to contact your service provider because this could be network problem or your account with them might have some issues and needs to be fixed.
Lastly if all of the steps are not fixing the issue, I suggest you bring your phone to the nearest phone repair shop accredited by NOKIA, for possible re-programming or re-formatting.
