Question about Computers & Internet
Due to the open ended nature of the question ... I am assuming you wish to connect to you rpc from another pc using RDP (Remote Desktop Protocol) or commonly known as remote desktop.
if connecting on internal network without any firewalls, start RDP and connect via name or ip address to the other computer. Follow the steps highlighted HERE and you can't go wrong for windows 7.
If external ... please note ... ports 3389 should be enabled on your firewall router. As there are plenty of routers/modems on the market, it will be too numerous to mention here, however, it is commonly noted as NAT'ing or Port forwarding to enabled ports 3389 and redirect the link to you local machine on the internal side of the network. from an external network ... just connect to it's public ip address and you shoul dbe able to connect to your internal machine via rdp. good luck ...
