I have a g60 hp 123cl and when I put a memory in the slop that is stuck to the board does not light, but when you put it on the other slop work, please I need help.

From your description one of the memory slots is not working, buy a can of compressed air and give it a good blast to clean out any possible dirt. Now plug the memory stick in and pull it out " do this several times" this will help clean the contacts and hopefully fix the problem.

Memory stick pro wont read in my hp pavillion dv 6000

It could be possible that you are missing the card reader driver. HP Support has the driver for download: ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp34501-35000/sp34638.exe

When i power up my hp pavillion laptop the screen stays black and it beeps 3 times and does nothing

3 beeps is usually related to the memory.

Try re-seating / booting with just one stick of memory and see what happens.

Have an hp a305w pavillion powers up but nothing on the screen, tried f10 an nothing happened. Its as if the monitor isn't receiving a signal.

Disconnect all cables, remove all cards and memory. Reinstall one stick of ram, power cord, video cable and keyboard. If that works reinstall other components one at a time. I found a hp a1600n at the dump. Brought it home, had same problem, tried this. A memory stick was loose. Resetting it fixed it. I am typing on it now. You might try the memory first. A chip could have gone bad.Are you using the board video or a video card?
