Question about DeLonghi A120E Air Conditioner

2 Answers

A/C works fine most days but when really hot like today (over 100) it works for a little while (5-10) minutes then does a shake/rattle then blows plain not cool air, almost like it doesn't have enough power. It is on its own circuit. It is one year old and works great when temp is in 80s to low 90s outside, any hotter and it does what is described above.

When it turns off, do you look at your alarm display and see if it is lit up? It should be a triangle with and exclamation point in it above the auto fan indicator. Please let me know if this lights up when it turns off.

Rattling noises from ac

If you are careful unplug it, tilt it 45 degrees back and use a hose spray sideways to remove the debris from the coils. It worked for me. Be careful not to get any of the electrical parts wet.Low pressure from hose

Air conditioner blows hot air

there is a mode controller/actuator in the passenger side area(behing glove box) that will make clicking and rattling noise when failed but I cant say it makes a "horrible" rattle but it is quite audible clicking and clearly is a noise coming from inside the left dash area

Air conditioning blowing only highest setting but HOT air

Sounds like your freon has leaked out and your heater blower resistor is burned out. Deffinitly take this to the dealer.

Nikon SB-80DX doesn't work

The symptoms and sounds you describe (pop, now rattling) point to the flashtube being blown. Sorry. You can get a repair estimate, but you may find it cheaper to buy a used on on eBay or craigslist. Around $100-110 on eBay if you are patient.
