+ is on center pin, and the current consumption is low, not more than 200mA. A 12V wall-wart will do fine.

I assume you mean the sony dosen't have a phono input? Then all you need is a Magnetic Cartridge Pre-amp. Your turntable plugs into this and the pre-amp goes into a spare aux on the Sony. Just do a search for the Pre-amp on google by putting in "Magnetic Cartridge Pre-amp".
