after the idler is pushed all the way back into the frame.try to put some wood blocks under the track to remove all the slack.use the bucket to push as much of the bottom section under the bottom rollers.use a heavy chain and pull up and over the top of the roller.when you get close you can use the drive to walk it the rest of the way.if it still doesnt go you may have to break the track at the master pin. this is usually marked with a small hole drilled in the end of the pin.heat and beat the pin out, break the track.pull track over top rollers and make ends meet on top of the srocket.use a chainfall to pull two halfs together and line them up.drive pin back in and your all set.

Here is a solution for getting a track hoe track back on. 1)You can use the bucket to lift the track over the middle wheels (use chains with hooks). 2)Next, you need to use the bucket (push down on the ground) like a crutch and walk the tracks in one direction. Push the bucket up slightly until you start to get friction with the ground. The ground will cause the track that is off to begin to spin. 3)Moving in the direction will push the track towards the teeth. The teeth will begin to catch. 4)If you run out of room, walk the track hoe in the opposite direction, make sure you bucket down on the ground when going in the opposite direction to keep the position off the off track from sliding. 5)Repeat the process until the teeth finally catch.
