SOURCE: Excavator track needs to be put back on

after the idler is pushed all the way back into the frame.try to put some wood blocks under the track to remove all the slack.use the bucket to push as much of the bottom section under the bottom rollers.use a heavy chain and pull up and over the top of the roller.when you get close you can use the drive to walk it the rest of the way.if it still doesnt go you may have to break the track at the master pin. this is usually marked with a small hole drilled in the end of the pin.heat and beat the pin out, break the track.pull track over top rollers and make ends meet on top of the srocket.use a chainfall to pull two halfs together and line them pin back in and your all set.

SOURCE: Excavator track needs to be put back on

Here is a solution for getting a track hoe track back on. 1)You can use the bucket to lift the track over the middle wheels (use chains with hooks). 2)Next, you need to use the bucket (push down on the ground) like a crutch and walk the tracks in one direction. Push the bucket up slightly until you start to get friction with the ground. The ground will cause the track that is off to begin to spin. 3)Moving in the direction will push the track towards the teeth. The teeth will begin to catch. 4)If you run out of room, walk the track hoe in the opposite direction, make sure you bucket down on the ground when going in the opposite direction to keep the position off the off track from sliding. 5)Repeat the process until the teeth finally catch. PC 300 LC-3 serial #13848 what year would that be

Hi Gervin:
Your question appeared in the Washing Machines sections.
A Komatsu log loader would make one wild clothes washer, although somewhat overpowered.
- My excavators have the year stamped in the I.D. plate next to the serial number.
- If you can't find it I would suggest that you contact your nearest Komatsu dealer and ask them.

Can any body tell me how to refit the rubber on komatsu 36 digger

There is going to be a track adjuster-sort of looks like a nut with a grese zerk in the middle of it. You back this nut off to let grease escape from the adjuster, and using the bucket on the machine try to force the idler back into the trackframe. This will give you the clearance you need to reinstall the track ( with the help of a bar). Once the track is back in position, tighten the nut you loosened, then pump the zerk back up with grease until you reach the desired tension. The location of that nut and zerk is listed in your owners manual under track maintenance. Hope this helps. Marvin

Possible problem of slow movement of Hydraulic cylinder and Travel of Komatsu excavator

hi, have u checked ur fluid and filter, if so u need to check the pressure.
u can buy a normal guage and and get a bit of pipe made up to suit ur job.
you might be able to get away by increasing the spool valve. but if ran low on hydraulic then it is a new pump.
