Remove the brush assembly, and clean/oil (3in1 or similar) the end bearings. If the belt is broken/damaged, replace same. Install the belt on the roller and motor shaft, then install the brush into the vacuum base--make sure the belt is half twisted (if required) in the correct direction. Hope this helps!

When the vacum is set on the bare floor mode, the on/off light blinks and the roller brushes stop working

This is normal. The roller brushes aren't needes on bare floors. They are used to brush lint, hair, etc. from the carpet that the suction itself wouldn't get.

Belt problem - when we began to vacum, we heard a sound, the rollers stopped moving

Sounds like your belt may have broken, or you have something jammed in there preventing the brush roller to spin. But most likely you're problem is a broken belt which is a simple fix that takes no time to fix

The vacuum wont **** up anything anymore, and a rubber belt is now visible. What can I do to fix it?

i presume the vacume is a upright type. if the belt is visible i am also presuming the belt has broken, so turn the vacume up on its end so you can see the roller, you may have to take out a few srews to tak the base plate off which is covering the roller, take this off and you should see how the system works, the belt attaches to the moter spindle and then around the brush to turn it. take the brush out you should only need to pull it clean it and then go toyour local spares shop with the model number of your vacume and get a new belt, they cost about £1.00 each, put it back together and it should work....good luck.

We have the Eureka EZ Kleen upright. We have suction through the hoses but not the main vacuum. The brush turns fine but the vacume does not **** anything up.

THE HOSE BETWEEN THE DETACHABLE WAND AND THE BRUSH ROLLER AREA MUST BE CLOGGED WITH CARPET FIBERS. CLEAN IT OUT AND IT SHOULD WORK.

Fantom cyclone belt status light

The belt may have stretched to the point that it won't turn the brush roll, you might try a new belt and hope that fixes it. Parts for these older Fathoms are scarce and are obsolete.
