My alpine cda-9855 deck is having problems ejecting cd's. The button works and you can hear the motor trying to tilt the face plate to eject the cd, but nothing happens, as if something is stuck or seized. Happened right after i transfered the deck over to my new car. And no, i did not drop it. HELP!!!!!! Thanks in advance!!

SOURCE: No sound from my 9855 alpine

There is an option in the unit itself to turn off the internal amplifier. If you push the 'menu' button, then go to the setup/settings menu, and then i believe it was under the 'general settings' tab. there's a option called INT IC or something. Make sure that is turned on.

SOURCE: I have an alpine cda-9883 cd won't eject & error

try detaching the "face" and there should be a little button that you can only push in with some kid of really thin stick, maybe a pin that will reset the cd player and hopefully work

SOURCE: stuck cd

Behind the faceplate there should be a reset button, you can try pushing that button to see if it'll eject the CD.

I got a Alpine cda-9851 cd player today. I popped the face plate off to see where the cd goes in, but theres not a slot for it! Do i have to have a 6 disk changer for it?

this is a motorized deck. just press the eject button and it should open. the eject button should be on the lower right hand corner of the face.

CDA-9813 No sound, will not eject CD

There is a very tiny dot located either on the actual face of the alpine head unit or on the front plate of the radio once the face has been removed. Once you find this dot(if on the actual face) you need to make sure unit has power turned on and witha tiny needle or pick you may push this reset buton in for about 2 seconds. The face will automaticaly fold down and the disk will eject itself. Once this is done do not place the same disk back into the unit. Hope this solves your problem

Alpine CDA-7865R won't play CD and won't eject it either.

On the face, where the buttons are that control the tilt of the face there is a small reset button (In between). I pressed this whilst the unit was off, and when I switched it on again, the CD started playing but I couldn't tilt the face and eject the CD, so I hit the reset button again and it all worked!

Alpine head unit CDA-9855R

Yes, I'm sure Alpine will sell you another face but there is still the option of repairing the broken face at a good repair shop. Of course getting a new face is the easiest (read most expensive) way to get you going again.
