TO LIGHT THE PILOT
1.Open the door. 2. Turn the thermostat OFF The thermostat is located behind the door. 3. Push the gas control valve knob and turn to OFF. Wait 5 minutes for unburned gas to vent. 4. Push and turn gas control valve knob to the "L" in PILOT. 5. While still holding the knob in, light the pilot with a lit flame. I got a dean that that is for natural gas and now I need to use propane...does it have to be re jeted or can I adjust the regulator or something

It will be safe if you use a Conversion kit from natural gas to propane. The kit consists or burner and pilot orifice which has smaller holes compared to the natural gas orifice, gas valve spring which is thicker than the natural gas spring, and ann instruction manual. You can visit the frymaster website and ask the local dealer on your country for the conversion kit.

I am not able to get the pilot light lit on my frymaster gas fryer. I have had this issue before in the past two months and it was a clogged gas orphus. Were is the gas orphus located so that i can take it...

All Manuals are available on Frymasters website. the orifice is located in the pilot line where the gas line connects to the pilot. You will have to unscrew the fitting and remove the orifice. It is best to clean the entire pilot assembly and the gas line going to the orifice. Many times when a pilot tube has leaked and possibly burned incorrectly, the gas line can fill up with suit. Your clogged orifice could recur if the line is not cleaned as well. I have had to return to customers locations only to find an orifice I cleaned was clogged again. I then removed the pilot feed line, when I blew through is it filled my hand with black suit. It can be a messy and frustrating job to pull all this apart. You may want a professional. Be sure you have no gas leaks upon completion, use soap bubbles to check for leaks! Click here to download manual from frymaster

I need to know how to lite the pilot on my frymaster fryer

fry099_16_4.gifMake sure the thermostat is turned off. Units burners will light as soon a pilot in it is on. fry099_16_5.gif 3-2 Lighting the Pilot and Burner Figure 1 Figure 2 3. Push the knob in and light the pilot. Continue to hold the knob in for about 60 seconds after the flame appears on the pilot. Release the knob. The pilot should remain lit.

I suggest that you boil it out before using. This cleans the pot of any contaminants here is how to do this.
Boiling Out the frypot To ensure that the frypot is free of any contamination resulting from its manufacture, shipping, and handling during installation, the frypot must be boiled out before first use. Frymaster recommends boiling out the frypot each time the oil or shortening is changed. 1. Before lighting the burner, close the frypot drain valve and fill the frypot with a mixture of cold water and boil-out solution or detergent. Fill to the lower oil-level line. 2. Light the fryer in accordance with the lighting instructions in Section 3.1. 3. Simmer the solution for one hour.
I would attempt to paste the complete owners manual but it's just way to large. I do warranty for Frymaster is how I have access to it. Good luck
