How did he messed up? anyways, if u push the cone of the sub down and u hear a sound like "TUN!" its most likely ur sub is irremediably damaged. The cone needs to come up perfectly as a good sub would do. I need to know exactly what ur friend did b.c it is quite weird to mess a good sub by slightly switching cables

I have1 12 square solobaric so how do i wire my subwoofer to a jl audio 500.1 mono amp withn 4 speaker terminal going out

bridge you channels together you got to take the speaker terminal one the left and put a positive on there then go to the right and put the negative on there. that runs your full power of your amp to one sub

Would a 10ZX750.1 amp be alright on a Single Solobaric L5 10" inch in a ported box???

yes, the 10ZX750.1 is capable of running two L5's at two ohms in either a ported or sealed box. Just be sure to wire it up to suit your needs correctly (if you need to know how i can help) and make sure that your box dimensions match what kicker specify. the L5 is actually one of the subs that kicker reccommend for that amp.
Hope I helped , and please dont forget to rate.
cheers

What wires do i need to hook up 2 kicker solobaric s15l7 to a car

You will need the amp wires. Red Positive to battery, Black negative from amp ground to unpainted car body surface, and the blue remote wire that goes from amp to remote wire on back of cd deck.
Then you will need the rca cables from rear output of cd player to the amp.
Then just the positive and negative wire from speaker to amp. Use Speaker Positive wire to Amp Right Channel Positive
And speaker negative wire to amp Left Channel Legative wire.
That is it.

I have this same problem

Check the power with a volt meter. The battery power, then the remote power. Also make sure it's grounded properly. bad grounds cause mayhem.

I have 3 Kicker solobarics Hooked to 1 ohm, But

It likely has a blown voicecoil - or the voicecoil is damaged in a certain spot - so when you play a certain frequency it cuts out.

Aso check the integrity of the tinsel wires - if they are loose or hitting the basket, it would stop playing.

BTW - it is impossible to wire a 1 ohm load with (3) single or 4ohm voicecoils.

Be sure your wiring is correct - or the amplifier will be the next thing to go.

How to wire up my kicker 12inch solobaric l5 2ohm to my zx500 2ohm mono amp. should it be ran in parallel or series? what is the best suggestion

Well first of all all solobarics are dual voice coil so you have 2 2ohm voice coils so if you wire them in parallel the sub will be pulling a 1ohm load wich would in time blow out your amp. So you want to wire both voice coils in series to produce a 4ohm load.
