The best way to solve that problem is to change your password to both accounts. If you do that the problem should be solved.
I hope this solution has been helpful.

My yahoo account was recently used to send a large number of bogus emails,by a virus or hacker or something. How do I contact Yahoo to get my email service re-instated? I haven't been able to

yahoo is a prime target for contact hacking because it is easy.
I suggest u move to gmail and get ur contact off yahoo.
the emails were probably NOT sent thru ur account.
If u signed up with another email or phone u may be able to retieve ur account.

How do I get my email addresses off of a blacklist?

Firstly, change your password on both accounts, as both accounts may be compromised, secondly run a virus/malware scan on all your devices that you use to access these accounts (avast for virus scan, unless you already have an up to date anti virus installed. Malware bytes for Malware and maybe a scan with super anti spyware wouldn't go amiss). After you have done all of this then you can start looking into why your accounts are flagged as spam. It could be the IP address that your Internet provider has given you has previously been flagged as a spamming IP Address, try turning your router off for about 20 minutes so when you turn it back on you get a new IP address and try again then. As an individual user there is not much more you can do apart from contacting google and Yahoo, they both have forms online (a little tricky to find) that you can fill in to ask to be removed from the blacklist. It may be prudent to have a look at the goole terms for bulk sending as well to make sure you are not falling fowl of googles t&c's. Hope that helps.

I am getting spam attaching to old deleted emails and recent emails and sending spam messages out to friends from my yahoo account. Please givve me a phone number to talk to someone lieive. you can reach...

Do you use a yahoo client on your computer? If so, your computer is probably infected with a virus. The only reason that you would be sending spam from your email account is if someone hacked it, or if you are using a client program on your computer, and it is infected with a virus.

If you are using the web version of yahoo, please change your password immediately.

Otherwise, download the free version of malwarebytes at www.malwarebytes.org. Install and update the program, then run a scan. It will remove most viruses.

A spam email is using my account to send & spread virus to all my contacts and more, using all my sending message limits every day, without any controle of my side. Please advicse how to solve this...

You could try a Norton symantec online scan. http://security.symantec.com/sscv6/WelcomePage.asp
also SUPERAntiSpyware http://www.superantispyware.com/download.html
and ad-aware http://www.lavasoft.com/products/ad_aware_free.php
also you could use hijackthis found here..
http://www.afterdawn.com/software/security/antispyware/hijackthis.cfm
and when your done cleaning your PC use
ccleaner http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download
Then use a web based email service like Gmail, yahoo mail or MS livemail.
this will keep the junk files off of your PC (nothing ends up on your PC unless you choose to save it manually)

Let me know if this helps or not.

Virus???

it is not your pc that may be infected. your account had been compromised by a possible hacker/spammer. DIid you give your information to anyone or registered at a website which you are not so sure about? note also that when a machine is sometimes infected with virus it is defficult for some anti-virus software to identify them since their scanning engines themselves are infected, it like someone standing in the rain and trying to dry himself.......it just wont work. i once had to format all my pc's running avg anti-virus which was neither updating nore detecting virus even though you could tell from the behaviour of the pc and the type of folders on a drive which the owner never created yet kept remaking itself up when deleted. visiting some sites could open you to so many hackers and spammers so always remember that the web is never a safe place even with the best anti-virus which only help........the greater part depends on the kind of sites that you visit could install what is known as keyloggers unknown to the user which secretly record the keys that you type and sends the information back to its creator. empty your browser cach and temporary folders from time to time. In your situation its quit unfortunate and the only way that seems to me is the best is to creat another account and transfer your contacts if you have created them again and need, to the new account. And unless i do forget, when you did delete you contacts it did not solve anything because whoever was behind this already had them so the spamming was not hard for him.
Remember that the web is never safe, only you can make it safe..........good luck

Something is in my email sending emails to my contacts with me doing it.

Your Yahoo email or Yahoo Messenger account was most probably compromised. The virus is running a script that automatically send out SPAM or abuse emails to all your contacts save in your Yahoo Mail or Yahoo Messenger account. You can do a FULL virus scan on your computer to remove this. Below is a free but effective online scan that you can use:

http://eset.com/onlinescan

You can also uninstall the currently installed Yahoo!Messenger and reinstall a new one.

Hope this helps.

I can sign into yahoo mail but my email will not come up

Is your your yahoo messenger a new version?? First do a scan to check for virus. Yahoo is very virus prone. It is best to use gmail for receiving and sending emails. www.gmail.com If you find a virus, you must remove it before doing anything else. Reinstall yahoo messenger. This will refresh your email account as well.

Why is my yahoo mail sending messages to everyone i know when i am not doing it

The message you're getting is because the Yahoo mail server has flagged you outgoing message as either Spam or, it contains a virus.

The first thing you should is scan your pc for viruses / malware using a well known anti virus program. Sophos and Kaspersky both make good products. You can also run a free online scan of your pc from Trend Micro's website.

If a scan of your pc does not detect any viruses or malware then you will need to contact Yahoo's customer support to find out exactly why your messages are being rejected.

There's nothing wrong with your account settings and the free version of Yahoo mail has no restrictions on sending outbound mail except for possibly a size limitation on messages containing attachments.
